    The eastern conference has been like that since 1999. Sadly, it's actually very improved today considering where it was in the early 2000's when the Nets won the conference two years in a row.

    I just finished reading that. Good article. I think Oden can come back, it will just take some serious time to rehab that knee. Now that he doesn't feel pressured by a team he's under contract with, it might be easier for him to get healthy.

    The guy has talent, and seems to have good character, so I hope to see him back one day.

    i crack up every time that stupid gatorade commercial comes on lauding Jordan's ability to overcome a "stomache bug". Dude was out gambling and getting wasted, and was massively hung over then won a game - pretty fucking bad ass. This is yet another reason why Kobe is not close to as good as Jordan, because the latter was doing what he did while suffering the effects of alcohol and sleep deprivation.
