I saw NIN at the Astoria - remember that place? - in 1990, or 1991 - can't remember which. It was their first ever gig in the U.K. They filmed it and used the footage for the video of 'Head like a hole'. It was o.k, I guess. :cool:0

Morning everyone! Cold and frosty but sunny here... Yesterday Swede msn'd me a pic taken from his back porch. He was all excited because there was a bit of snow!
Jim - Now this honeymoon in the Maldives sounds like something perfect. Been to the Maldives once... it's really like paradise. Which island... (wish I was there now!).
Marina - I was a ghoulie - a bit like the pic of Lara you sent but a lot more freaky...
V - you can stay with me... no problems (ps.. in the meantime, don't talk to Helen or Pippa - don't want you scared away!)
Helen - been voting... BTW - your PM box is full. Thanks for the link. I had it. Great site, isn't it? Makes me think, forgot to burn while you were here... I'll have to do something about that!Oh... I've been voting as well...
And a final hello to God who is possessed by a guitar demon (if I understood well).... How does one exorcise (?) God?0 -

Pippa - I've got the news on (BBC) and there was a item about the new bond theme because it is so different to all the others. They said that because the film was a lot grittier than previously, they needed a tough, soulful voice and a grittier song and CC fit the bill!! Another thing... apparently the record company said that there were no plans to release a single of the theme... maybe for CC's solo album???0 -

alright, it's deffinately winter now.
6-10 inches of snow and it's snowing at the moment aswell.
:D it's not too cold but still nice and brisk.
the only downside I can think of right now is that kids will obviously start throwing snowballs at each other and obviously that's not good. "Don't be faint-hearted, I have a solution! We shall go and commandeer some small craft, then drift at leisure until we happen upon another ideal place for our waterside supper with riparian entertainments."0 -

Hey Al!! You wouldn't be a member of the NIN fan club, would you?
I don't play any instrument but we have a piano, a keyboard, a posh violin, an electric violin, a saxophone and an acoustic guitar. All for Gabrielle! Don't ask about makes.. I'd have to look!0 -

Just sayin to V that I was never really a fan but she's gonna throw me a few bits of theirs nowIs there a big fanbase on here?? Oh and has byrnzie seen every band in the world ever live??? Seems to!!

Byrnzie wrote:You mean to say that we'll not be having a snowball fight when I come over? :(
oh no, we can have a snowball fight, don't worry.but I have to win and you can't throw them hard.
it's just that the kids at school aren't allowed to throw snowballs during recess as it'll only lead to a fight. and we also don't want anyone of them going blind."Don't be faint-hearted, I have a solution!
