Pumped! best beer ever besides Founder's Kentucky Breakfast stout, canadian breakfast stout coming out this year, maple syrup. Anyway, I'll be able to get a case of PJ20, i'm sure of that. Perhaps I'll share with the less fortunate in NJ area. If there's one thing i know, it's beer. If there's a second thing, it's pearl jam.0

Each state is different, depends when the distrubutor gets it and when they want to roll it out to stores. By the way, anybody else disappointed with the name? How about at least FaithfALE, or Hail, Ale? I'm sure there could be others.0

I agree on the Punkin. I had two last night and was thinking this is not the same beer I`ve had the past few years. Hopefully they can get it right next year because it was my favorite seasonal.
When we took a tour of DFH in July they said they were increasing Punkin production by 40% this year. Maybe that is the problem....
Who knows I`ve got a Pumpking to try tonight for PJ200 -

Is Pumpking by Southern Tier?
Also what about this tommyknocker pumpkin beer? Any good?
I still think the DFH/Epic collaboration beer Portamarillo is one of the best beers I have tasted if you can find it."Mark it 20, Dude."0 -
That's disappointing about the Punkin not being the same. That is my favorite seasonal from them. I've never been able to find it in bottles but a few places have it on tap.0

i think they're allowed a down year once in a whilewww.myspace.com0 -
Southern Tier pumpkin is amazing. As far as dogfish head punkin ale this year, the word is the recipe has not changed. Its quite possible your tastes have changed/your memory of the taste has changed. I havent tried it this year yet. I guess its always possible that the execution of the recipe was not as good, but it has not changed. It's the beer that made Dogfish head.0

No doubt, I just hope it's not a trend since they are making so much more now.0 -
YEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
i was just at dogfish last weekend!!! dammit how did i forget to ask!

come on Hunterdon Brewing Company.... don't fail me.... bring it to me... bring it....i like sound...0 -
What interests me the most about this beer is the wondering how many Ten Club members/die hard PJ fans will all of the sudden be turned on to craft beer in general because of this beer.
One thing that no one around here can deny is the fact that 10Cers seem to instantly gravitate towards anything and everything that PJ associated themselves with - whether we are talking about opening bands, charities or poster artists. This could turn out to be the best collaboration that DFH ever did (for business)...1996: Toronto 1998: Barrie 2000: Saratoga Springs 2003: Buffalo, Toronto 2005: Kitchener, London, Hamilton, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto 2006: Toronto x2, Cleveland, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Gorge #1 2007: London, Dusseldorf, Vic, Lolla 2008: WPB, Tampa, DC, MSG x2, Hartford, Boston x2, Beacon 2009: Toronto, Chicago x2, Seattle x2, LA #3&4, San Diego, Philly x4 2010: Cleveland, Buffalo, Hartford 2011: Montreal, Toronto x2, Hamilton 2012: Missoula 2013: London, Wrigley, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Hartford, Dallas, OKC0 -

spelled: Pumking
Yes, and it is soooo unique, I just had some the other night and it was like inhaling and drinking a Pumpkin scented Yankee Candle, but i'm not sure if it was a Spiced Pumpkin scent or Pumpkin Pie scent yet.... I guess I'll have to go to target and pick them up.... regardless, the Southern Tier Pumking and Weyerbacher's Imperial Pumpkin are at the top of my list.... and my list is getting longi like sound...0 -
Having punkin' ale now...
Guess it is less "bready"... But I like the spices."Mark it 20, Dude."0 -

Why does this sh€t keep slipping?
Obviously their are not enough folks here that care about Pearl Jam and craft beers.
...Ha!"Mark it 20, Dude."0 -
I'm not a beer person but that doesn't matter because I probably won't actually open these anyway.0

I wonder what the label will look like? If done well, it could be very cool. So many craft beers have awesome names and packaging.
On another note, I had Alpine Pure Hoppiness tonight, this is a DIPA, the stuff is absolutely awesome,I love this stuff! Brewed by a small brewery in San Diego, doesn't get distributed outside the area.0 -
