Big Day Out

Dont know if this has been mentioned, Triple M this morning have there is an imminent announcement that Pearl jam will headline next years Big Day out.

This will coincide with celebration of Both Pearl jams and Big Day Out's 20th Anniversary.

    PJ aren't very keen on festivals......
    I think I'd prefer if they did a standard tour, but i would take anything they give

    I heard this this morning too and I gotta say I fricken hope they DONT play the BDO.. Having been to that festival many, many times, I absolutely hate it, I know it's the most popular festival over here.. But I think I would much rather see PJ play their OWN shows and NOT a festival.... Seriously I hope to god these rumors aren't true...

    I can understand that - I don't want to fight a million kids for some pj love either - but whatever brings them to Melbourne (or Australia) right? Maybe they'd do some shows along the way? Fingers crossed they're coming to visit . . .

    Whatever brings them back down here, I guess...

    The upside is they'd do some sideshows, hopefully in all main cities. Not sure I'd travel just for a BDO-only show. It's a terrible festival.

    BDO does suck a few balls . . . I've only been once and it was enough . . . I didn't mind getting high and dancing in the dj tent at the end, but the big acts were just impossible to enjoy. Too many people, too hot. But again - whatever brings them to Oz . . .

    As much as I HATE the BDO if it brings them here to Oz, that would be awesome.. I just HATE the thought of people screaming out for the "hits" and that's it... I want to enjoy them & NOT have drunken idiots ruining my day...

    I think if they played BDO they wouldn’t do sideshows. It’s not much different to the stadium shows they did in 09.
    I'm hanging to get another seated show and actually use my 10C membership
    Take me for a ride before we leave...

    I would assume not. If it’s a festival 10C won’t be selling tickets and there wouldn’t be any way to have early entry
