    Looks good!

Astounding album - which I've never heard on vinyl. grrrr

Was eyeing this up in my local record store (regular vinyl - seems new to their racks) but at £22 I wasn't too happy. The prices across the board in that place seem to be hiking up for new vinyl releases. I think they want us to make up for the free downloaders!

Seeing as this is a massive thread on vinyl, does anyone have a great way of cleaning records? I just got the new Bon Iver vinyl and there are smudges all over the place and there is alot of static sounds and cracking. Thanks for any advice.

This. I've been looking at some brushes but they're expensive ($25 for a brush? No.) and I'm not sure how I'd use them, and those liquid cleaning kits make me nervous. I have a few records that came out of the sleeve new with little white pieces of the sleeve on them, and others that have been through a few plays now that I want to care for.
    Thanks EPOTTSIII!

We have discussed this in this thread before (viewtopic.php?f=9&t=117418&p=3805389&hilit=knosti#p3805389) and there's lots of info on the internet, for example here: http://www.discomusic.com/101-more/6193_0_7_0_C/
I once went to my local record store dealer to have a record cleaned, cause I didn't want to buy a cleaning machine for only one dirty record. He had this knosti machine and it worked out pretty nice.

    Be careful and good luck!

I have been stalking this thread for months because I have wanted to buy a record player and I finally did today. So I must post, thought I am not talented enough to put the pictures of the albums.

I have 6 PJ records that I added to these 5 I bought on Saturday

    1. Beatles Abbey Road
    2. Pink Floyd The Wall
    3. Fleetwood Mac self titled
    4. Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers - Damn The Torpedo
    5. Wings Greatest Hits

the last 3 were 3 for $10 while the big albums were for 20 each

loving the sound of Abbey Road on vinyl right now

Engelbert Humperdink. No joke. It was 50 cents at my local thrift store. Reminds me of my Gramma. She was a superfan.

I'm not doing so well on the 'not buying any vinyl' front. Went to a record fair at the weekend and picked up these two beauties:
