When I was looking round the record fair I found myself looking for much more indie and grunge and metal, and post -80s stuff than usual. I think I've been listening to too much 1960s and 1970s rock records for the past 18 months - I'm walking round feeling permanently stoned man. Some of what you hear from that era is kind of comical. I was listening to CSNY '4 way street' the other day, and thinking 'what a bunch of fucking hippies'

Need more grunge!

Is Era Vulgaris hard to find or something? One of the stores near me has had a few new copies every time I go in there. I think it's $25.

No, don't think so, it was pretty easy to find. It was sort of my last vinyl candy before PJ20 haha ... And I don't know about thrilla, maybe he has put himself on a buying stop, too

I didn't buy any vinyl today, but I did buy a new cartridge with different stylus - it's like having a new deck really - such a difference. Still making adjustments to get it sounding the best.

Even more importantly, I also bought me a new lighter! 8-)

I need to stop buying vinyl for a bit, haha. This is Smashing Pumpkins' Teargarden Vol. 2, not too big on the songs but I'll be damned if that isn't a pretty set. And considering it was only $10, well...

haha, well, I figured I was going to go out and make a large purchase, and I did, 10 records lol

I look forward to picking up a record each pay period

I tell you I have missed the thrill and enjoyment of searching and buying music

With the rise of torrents, I lost interest in buying CDs

Plus the sound of vinyl alone is enough to bring into the record buying world that you all inhabit
