    I made a stop at my local record store today, and ended up with this record. I wanted to give it to a friend as a birthday present, but now that I have spun it, I think I might keep it :oops: Haven't heard it in a long while, but wow, what a FANTASTIC recording :o:D

    And the record store dealer was so nice, he gave me a promo EP from a local band for free. It's a limited edition and all the promo EPs have number 666 :lol: Love these guys!

    you lucky one!! I'm having the same issue with Amazon again and again!! Whenever I ordered vinyl from them (and I ordered a lot!) they sent it in a huuuge box where you could easily fit in 16-20 vinyls when stacked on two piles with each 8-10 LPs :? this huge box for just ONE vinyl!!!! When I ordered the Foos 'Wasting Light' (which is NOT sealed) I actually received the cover sleeve empty and the vinyl in its inner sleeve seperated from it, sliding around in this box during transport; simply because there's far too much space in this box :(
    I did sent an email each time they did it but with no reaction or reply at all....
    Well, I don't know if it makes a difference but I used the "Leave Packaging Feedback" under my Orders page instead of directly emailing them, and my complaint was also way back in February so it could take some time to go through. But that was the same problem I had, I probably could've packed my Xbox nice and securely in that box, never mind a vinyl.

    EDIT: Also, the new packaging seems a lot better. I got the record in cardboard vinyl mailer that folds up the whole record, but without the huge box (wasn't even in a box, actually). There's no way for the record to slide around or get out of the sleeve.

    Yep, used the packaging feedback option as well :) I will see in August if they improved ther packaging, I ordered the Uke vinyl via Amazon (just to make sure to get it at all, my 10c order got shipped 7.5 weeks ago...) :)

    Just got Soundgarden- Down on the Upside and Mars Volta- Frances the Mute. Soundgarden hasnt been opened and Volta played only once.

    Did you get Down On The Upside from the ones on ebay where the guy had like 10 of them for sale? I knew I'd forget to check back on those auctions. I wish they had been a buy it now.
