Back to work....arg!

That suxs Kelly how was MN. I heard when i was in St Louis on the news that all the rest stops were closed due to a gov't shut down. That would make a trip shitty.

I actually flew so I didnt encounter any issues with the government shut down. the only evidence I saw of it was the lottery ticket machine in the airport were turned off with big signs on them. I CONSIDERED driving, but its close to 8 hr drive for me, and going alone driving 16 hours didnt sounds like too much fun; then when i realized a bunch of stuff was shut down, I decided to fly for sure

Our 4th was spent in Medford- 18 hours driving over a three day weekend. Sounds like your opting to fly was the smart choice!

Ugh what a day today. I spent five hours changing locks at a friends rental. Almost got attacked by dog till i pulled out my .357 thought i was gonna have to shoot the dog it kept charging me teeth showing then when it saw the pistol it stopped. A two hour favor turned into a five hour favor. Long long day but i helped out a good friend and thats all that matters.

Glad ya'll are liking the new avatar. So glad it can bring a laugh to faces. I hope the book comes out so when i have a child i can read it to them every single night.

Oh i went swiming today with my church and now i am as red as a tomato but it was a fun day.

I don't want summer to leave. I could do with out the mosquitos but other than that summer kicks the shit. I hate winter my arthritis is worse and i am saaaaaaaaaaaaaad panda during winter.

I usually don't mind winter but this one seems to have gone on looooong enough! Mind you our summers can be pretty unbearable at times too. It can be in the mid 40's for weeks at a time. That's celsius, not sure what that is in farenheit??? I think it's about 104??

Good guess loulou 40c is 104f. I can handle the heat just drink water and don't over do it. Winter is fine for football here but after thats done i can do without winter.

Our dream one day is to have a winter house in Savannah Ga. Hopefully it comes true cause i can not take much more of these cold Ohio winters. Just thinking about snow make me sad.

Ooooo yeah, I can understand. I used to live in Victoria up in the Dandenong Ranges where it used to snow and I didn't enjoy it either. Toooo cold! :shock:
