    No, my premise is not that "it's disrespectful" for Ed to play his own songs, far from it. My point was that Ed plays his own songs and covers of songs he loves. He doesn't play Jeff or Stone's songs out of respect for the band. And the reason I believe is because he is trying to distance himself from Pearl Jam. At least for the night. It's an Eddie Vedder show. That was my point. He plays the Pearl Jam songs that HE wrote.

    And yes I am a drummer. But also a guitarist! :D

    Thinking about this...I have just seen two Ed shows...wow! But I still have yet to see Pearl Jam....so I guess I feel they are not the same. I did love hearing the Pearl Jam songs played by Ed...and I now count myself as having heard them. BUT - I cannot wait to finally see Pearl Jam for the first time EVEr at alpine :D:D:D
