Been washing a lot of my mucky records - with stunning results! Highlight is Aretha Franklin - Lady Soul - some real 60s magic coming off that record now.
My friend's Dad is a complete hi fi freak - the cost of his system is actually too rude to mention in public - he does a lot of tweaking stuff for better sound - he's a bit crazy. I went round there to play him the original Who's Next I got recently, and he took the record and passed electricity through it with a device he has. I was cynical, but when I got home the sound difference was amazing! hahaha - freak

he gave them all to me (along with all his Beatles records) many years ago. I, in turn, wasn't yet into vinyl, so eventually gave them all to a friend of mine. My Dad turns around a year ago and says "I regret giving those to you, do you still have them?". So the buddy I gave them to, who I hadn't seen in 4 years, I see him when another buddy is in town, and I mention it to him. He says "they're yours!". Six months later, he finally gets around to going through them and I get them all back for my Dad, who only wanted the Beatles ones, and gave me the rest.
I spun the Guess Who Live at the Paramount two nights ago, and holy shit, there's a 13 minute version of American Woman on there that blew me away.
