Seeing this is pretty much an Adelaide thread, I just rang Big Star Rundle Street and they're selling the album from midnight Sat 29 April (better known as Friday night)!

The chick was heaps nice, she said they normally stay open until 10pm anyway, so they're staying open till midnight so the die hard fans can get it from then. They'll stay open until around 2am depending on numbers.

I'm there!

I'd like to remind you of the work i did in the last thread:

Okay for all my aussie pals i've done it.

I've worked out the schedule and prices for going to every Pearl Jam Show in australia. Its taken the "rumoured schedule" and added shows so its similar to the last tour whichj was 10 shows. These are the assumptions which I based my pricing on

* The same amount of shows in each city as 03
* The added Newcastle show as per rumoured schedule
* The estimated $AU price for a pait is $160
* I've added a Townsville show for our northern friend And i dont think this is entirely unfeasible if you add Rockhampton McKay and Cairns people will come down for the event
* I've got prives for flights from virgin blue, hostels from YHA and rail from city rail
* I've shown where i can crash with a mate or where shows are in home city

yeah im really hoping i can mooch of family members in melbourne, perth and possibly sydney to help cut those accomodation costs out...

i may have to stick to just adelaide, sydney, melbourne, and possibly perth, plus driving to melbourne may be an option for me....

We saw Xavier Rudd, Donovan Frankenreiter ( with guest michael franti!), Conrnerstone Roots, K*Naan, Sarah McLeod, Ash Grunwald & a shitload of sexy hippies!! man, the music made me fly. i couldn't help but think, man, if i'm like this seeing musicians i love, how nutty am i gonna b seeing the band i'm OBSESSED with?! hahahhacan't wait 4 PJ tour!!

after we got back from fest it was pissing down & our tent got flooded... the whole campsite flooded. we were lucky. all our stuff was locked in the car, so only our bedding got wet (which we slept in) but other ppl had floating tents, floating blow-up mattresses... it was fun

We had a party sun nite 4 our last nite & us & the neighbours had music pumping, beer flowing, weed being smoked (well, by me anyways), me pole dancing, Meg's on top of her car & vic on top of a wheely bin... ended up getting 7 noise complaints (so the security twit sed) & eventually got told 2 go 2 bed or b thrown out... it was only 4am... hehehe ha a fuckin blast!!!

not long til the new album!!!!!!!
