I'm not sure on this but I got the white stripes, strokes and ben harper albums at midnight in the last year... at big star in rundle street.

Nowhere in Townsville will be open at midnight unfortunately....but WOW Sight and Sound might sell it on Sunday! I'll ring them and make sure THEY DO!!!!

man, i checked airfare to oz yesterday on a whim based on rumored dates. :eek: sweet jeebus that is pricey! just about $3500 US for 2 roundtrip economy tickets from NY. waaaayyyyyyyyyy over budget. i will have to visit australia someday during the off season, our summer/your winter.....and just see your beautiful country sans live pearl jam. looks like if we manage to do serious travel for pj this year, europe it is....bout $2000 less on airfare alone.

i will still hope you get HEAPS of shows down under though!

and someday, ahhhhhhhhh someday, i WILL make it to your country!

Do you think that if we ever/when we meet up that we'd call each other by our screen names? I'd struggle with Angus/Gus because I always call him Gusto even when I talk to Leigh about him and now it's stuck. I'd probably call Trudie "Tig" too....Pappas definitely will get called Pappas...I think I'd call Stella "Stella" though for some reason....

It would be strange -- I think it would be out before you even had a chance to think about it eg "HEY, JEFF'S THE MAN!!! GET ME A BEER TOO!! -- oh fuck, sorry!!!!"

I know you're not "supposed" to call everyone by their screen names but I don't think I will be able to help it! I've been talking to these people and calling them their screen names for over a year now! I never, EVER think of "Jeff" as Nick....it's going to be a problem for me I think!
