    UGH ... when I made my plea for them to call up Belt, it certainly wasn't with the intention fo taking Buster's spot on the roster.

    Maybe the news is not as bad as we thought. The trainer for the team said that Buster may be out 6-8 weeks. It is a "severe" injury that could sideline him for the year, but the Giants are going to wait on further consultation from specialists.

    At least the Giants are still better than the Do**ers. :lol:

    This is devastating news for us Giants fans. It helps a little to know this wasn't a maliciously inflicted injury. This from an article on si.com:


    "It's devastating to watch a star player suffer an injury just as his career is getting started. But most of the talk about rule change was emotional. Cousins hit on Posey wasn't illegal. It wasn't malicious. And while Cousins did appear to have an available path around Posey, he was making the decision in a split second. Cousins was distraught about what happened, leaving two messages for Posey the night after the collision and was barely able to maintain his composure on Thursday."
