Haha, don't worry baby. I'm still here! Didn't know I needed to have thousands of posts, I've got better things to do.

Anyways, it's been a rough patch for the boys. Injury, Showtime series, injury, injury. Can't ask for much if all that happens. Wonder if the Showtime show is a curse like being on the cover of Madden?

I'm not even close to fair weather. Going to watch a sweet matchup between Lincecum and Kershaw (actually might deserve the Cy Young)

    Phuck the Phils!
    Peace

I like you, too  ;)

just not much to talk about...a shitty season, like so many other shitty seasons....mid season trades and injuries just killed the clubhouse chemistry.

I'm waiting for our season to be over so I can root AGAINST certain teams in the playoffs...would like to see the d-bags, braves, yanks, sox and rangers gone in a hurry!

I'm still popping in here for updates. I have been so busy I cant even wait for MLB.com's homepage to load, and after seeing the latest, I usually know its just better to stay quiet.

The last game I watched was the Little League World Series. Really. I have had to switch gears to volleyball and PJ20, but I am back to work now where time moves ever so slowwwww.

Agreed! He just hit 2 homers in the same inning. We may be 4 games back after today and there is one series left with the D Bags!

Sandoval may have just pushed me into my fantasy baseball final as well :)

On a side note, if Kershaw doesn't win the Cy Young something is terribly wrong with America's pastime.

    Season Wrap:

we didn't deserve to win....but we certainly could have. that stretch against the cubs, astros, pirates, reds (i.e. bottom feeders) killed us. we also came up very small against the fucking d-bags :x

Injuries killed us too. the big ones were posey and freddie...our two best hitters. practically the whole team hit the DL at some point. last year, we were incredibly fortunate with injuries.

our rotation is still top notch. timmy, cain, bummy and hopefully voglesong. I do worry that timmy is getting fed up with the lack of run support

next year? do NOT resign Beltran unless it's a two year (max) deal, stay away from free agents. put buster, freddy, panda, nate and cody out there. start with Huff, but put him on a very short leash. if he doesn't cut it, it's belt's job. give pill a better look too. keep as much as the bullpen as possible, especially Lopez.

and remember......we are STILL World Champs! ...and we finished ahead of the dod*ers

  • You're not really "DEFENDING" anymore. Players can't defend anything sitting on their couches watching the playoffs on TV.
