I believe this to be true. I would have rather we dug a hole in the ground so no one would find him. If he get's a proper burial it becomes a holy site for his believers, which I will take a burial at sea over. Sooo, shallow grave never to be found > burial at sea > leaving body to be buried on its own

he said something about throwing him out of a chopper over the ocean though

sorry Godfather but i think osama couldnt kill 1 million people,but he did something more important...
to make feel people fear,especially the west world,,to feel fear that they are helpless at their own home..

A week ago? And I did read something about linking DNA to a sister who died of cancer, but it's still in testing phases. How long does it take to get a DNA report?

Another thing... why did they choose to kill him rather than wound him in order to capture him? That would seem more feasible AND believable...

this whole "buried at sea" because he's a muslim stuff is really dodgy
i'm a muslim but that doesn't mean i have to go be buried at sea
it's preferred that you are prepared for burial by a family member (which was out of the question here) and washed, wrapped in a cloth and then buried, as soon as possible after death

It is preferred for a Muslim to be buried where he or she died, and not be transported to another location or country (which may cause delays or require embalming the body).

it's preferred that you're buried on land too, except in circumstances when you cannot get to land. then you are buried deep in the sea - to prevent any sea animals digging your body up.
i'm not the most knowledgeable and there will probably be stuff that i don't know but still..to say that he needs to be buried at sea because of his faith isn't accurate. at all.

after letting what happened sink in, and then reading lots of stuff, watching the news - i am worried, definitely, for the future, for revenge attacks from those members of Al-Qaeda that are still left.
Celebrating death is ignorant and while I completely understand and share in the feeling of relief that many Americans feel, we all know that this is NOT the end of terrorism. And it is probably the start of something new- i really fear more attacks on the west from angered and revenge seeking jihadists and such
I don't know if it's right for us to celebrate the killing of someone, to justify the killings of others? I suppose yes because what he did was much more but was a trial out of the question? Was it impossible to capture him and then see from there?

I'm not really sure, but not nearly as long as it used to. I would think they could probably get it back in a week considering the priority this probably has. Again, I didn't read the whole thing, but that was a headline comment on the story when I briefly glanced at cnn. Also, I think he was killed in a fire fight, so capturing him was out I guess.

I have a feeling that if your the American government who just got the guy who took down the towers you can get a DNA test pretty fast.

as for the killing him rather than capturing him, i think we have wait for more info. i have never been in a war but many people i know have been and they say that sometimes capturing a person is not possible.

From all I've read and heard it all happened in one day, he was killed the same day Obama made the announcement.

And I don't think they chose to kill him. I highly doubt Osama would ever let that happen, he was gonna go down fighting no matter what. The was said to be a 45 minute gun battle.

I don't know. This is what's sketchy...

-The sea burial
-No proof
-No capture
-No Americans injured in this so-called incident
-They torched the compound

I could go on.

I just think it's very important that we QUESTION everything we hear from the U.S. government and not just blindly believe everything we hear.

Everything I've heard as to the burial at sea is not because of religion but because they didn't want him buried in a place that would become a terrorist shrine. Apparently the body was offered to the Saudis but they didn't want it. So the best place was the sea.
