    richards has had a good series. you attribute good play to goals scored, so you dont realize this.

    carter has sucked. as usual. his injury won't hurt this team at all. it might even help. like when the phils got rid of abreu. carter and abreu might actually be the same person

    And I have to go to some weak ass surprise birthday party(dude's turning 32 - seriously, who has a surprise party for an age other than 21, 30, 40, 50, 60, etc) at a fucking wine bar in Manayunk. Essentially it's everything I hate wrapped up in a Friday night.

    You could always skip. . . or show up to the party drunk already. That way they'll tell you to go home and you can spending your Friday watching hockey like you actually want to.

    Yeah, I'm watching the beginning of the game at a buddy's place, and I surely have thought of your scenario, but I gotta be the boyfriend of the girl invited. So, yeah, I can't be my usual dick self. All I know is they better have TV's, and interestingly enough the chick hosting the thing is a Buffalonian. At least if the Flyers win, I can see the disappointment in her face the rest of the night. That should about even us up for screwing up my night.
