    good win. the PK was money. PP was better. zherdev helped...except for that awful penalty he took.

    bouch played decent. 2nd goal was brutal. should have caught or batted that towards corner...then he missed the shot that went in.

    if this team could get the PP going, prevent the nightly soft goal, and hand carter a pair they would be unbeatable.

    Went to Buffalo yesterday for the game. great road game played by the flyers. but man, the beast of the game was Coburn. I am more and more impressed with him. Flyers look a little bad in the first period but they PK was great and i think the turning point of the game was the 4 minutes PK in the first and the 5-3 in the 3rd.

    Now lets close this off in 5 so that pronger doesn't have to come back this series and will be refreshed for the rest of the playoffs

    btw, when was the last time a goalie started the 1st game and was a healthy scratch in the 3rd. Has that ever happen before?

    probably not..but then again most teams have a # 1 goalie

    even if the waterboy was to get bombed in the next game ...he should be starting the rest of the playoffs...PERIOD

    I didn't see the intensity on the Buff side that I thought I would

    JVR looks really good...maybe this will be his coming out party like Giroux in last years playoffs

    Hopefully Wed they can take a strong hold on the series with a win

    I don't have the hatred I used to towards Buff...although Gaustad is on my radar

    3 hours and 21 minutes to go! I say the Flyers win today 3-1. I am hoping JVR gets a goal or 2 as he has been a great player so far this playoff

    it was an elbow to the face. not worthy of any consideration of 5 minutes but a penalty. kind of a dumb play with 7 seconds left in the period and at center ice. richards wasn't very good tonight including missing a wide open net.

    can't believe i'm actually going to say this but carcillo should have gotten more time. he was great tonight and actually generated chances. would have like to seem him with giroux or richards for a few shifts.

    buffalo not very good offensively. jump on them friday night and end it sunday boys. although as a few of you guys on here have said before, wo don't do being a favorite in philly very well. this would be a devastating series loss.

    For real. I was really hoping Carcillo would have beat the shit out of Miller.

    Flyers kind of got away from their "shoot first" attitude again and it hurt them.
