It's funny, because any time I've requested anything from them, I've always received a timely response.
I wrote 10c yesterday and have yet to hear anything...
Yesterday was Sunday...it's the same as if you had emailed them today. Give them some time. I have also always received timely responses from them, and it is very much appreciated.

Everyone please, just go fuck yourselves

It's actually died down a lot from the weekend. I think everyone just needed to get it out of their systems.
Besides, people are just expressing their opinions, many of which I understand even if I don't agree with every single one. Something exciting will be announced soon and people will be praising 10C again..these things always happen in cycles around here.

ugh enough with this family jamily crap. I'm not interested in 'the cult of Pearl Jam' i just love rock and PJ is the best there is! sure, they suck at business decisions and have probably went back on everything they preached about, but thats not why i listen to them anyway. i'm over the fanclub.
On December 25th, 2010, I paid $20 for a membership renewal to extend the membership one year until January 24th, 2012. Obviously, this was the old membership plan. What does this mean for 2011? Will I get the 2011 vinyl, the hard copy of Deep, and a t-shirt?
I want the first t-shirt, but I can't seem to upgrade my membership to the $40 at this time.
They replied:
Thanks for being on top of your renewal, although we do see the problem here. We anticipated hearing from a small number of members who have renewed early but now want to upgrade. No worries, it¹s a simple fix.
To get you sorted out for an Analog membership just reply to this email with your Visa/Mastercard number, expiration date, and 3 digit security code. The $20 difference will be charged to your card. Please be sure to also include your shirt size. (chose from Men S-XXXL or Woman S-XXL)
So, THAT is how you upgrade into the digital, if you can't do it online.
Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"
I just was wondering, does the band know about this decision? Do you guys think they had something to do with it? How much involvement do the members of Pearl Jam have with the Ten Club? I'm just curious.

I'm no consumer rights expert, but it would seem to me to be extremely dodgy business practice to retrospectively charge you more for an item purchased in good faith based on the then current goods description. As far as I can see, at the time you renewed your membership the item description specified delivery of hard copies of both Deep and the Holiday vinyl. If I were you I would not send any cc details until you have received clarification on this.
When we found the things we loved,
They were crushed and dying in the dirt.
We tried to pick up the pieces,
And get away without getting hurt,
But they caught us at the state line,
And burned our cars in one last fight,
And left us running burned and blind,
Chasing something in the night.

I sent an e-mail to them over the weekend asking the same question...hopefully I hear back from them soon. I realize they probably have thousands of e-mails to respond to. I have no problem paying the additional $20 for the upgrade to Analog. I'm tired of all the people bitching on this thread.

This is a good point. I would suspect that if you didn't "upgrade," you get Deep and the record, but no t-shirt or download. If this is not the case, that's certainly a problem. Probably worth getting some clarification, if somebody is choosing to go that route and gets a definitive answer.

I agree. You have been sold goods at a certain price and they have accepted your money for these goods, thus entering into a 'contract' and this should be honoured. Unless there is a caveat somewhere in the small print...
Oh... and, should you wish to pay extra for what you already purchased, don't send your credit card details in an e-mail. Not secure at all. Give the 10C a ring.

well if this is the case then we are really getting into the true value of the shirt/download... how much does 10C charge these few cases to upgrade? if they go less than $20 then they might reveal more than they care to... you know what i mean? they're literally putting a price strictly on the shirt/download not before offered
1996 ed might look at 2011 ed and say "hmmm, i like his jacket. and his kids are cute. but i'm not going to judge him because i don't know what lead him to where he is now. plus i'm a tricky wee bugger to figure out at the best of times."
1996 doompony and 2011 doompony would annoy the shit out of each other. 1996 doompony would think 2011 doompony was boring. 2011 doompony would think 1996 doompony was a twat.
although 1996 threefish10 would think 2011 threefish10 has some pretty nice kicks, but would probably think he is too old and lame to have such cool shoes.
They choose to do smaller tours because they have families(with small children) and don't need to tour for a year straight to make money anymore. They don't want to be away that much. What is wrong with that? If they wanted to be popular they would have made more than one real music video. Trust me touring less isn't hurting these guys financially.
You are correct and you make good points, but I find it fit to mention that if the guys really wanted to, they could bring along their families on tour. Of course, they don't NEED to tour as much as you have said, but like I said they certainly could, it is easily feasible...and they wouldn't have to be away from family. Other bands do this.
If it wasn't for 10c, I would have missed out on tickets to see Eddie flying solo this year. Forfit a few beers/smokes and cough up the extra $$$. Your loyalty will be rewarded in some way. Bring on Ed's tour!!!
i like the idea..seems cool..im going analog, but im waiting for 10c to answer my mail..i dont understand how this works, cos my membership is current till November 2022,so wait to let me know what need to do,,im analog, digital,?need to pay the difference for those years .etc..
was so easy...10c answer me,they already refund me all the money for the those years till 2022 and i bought already my analog membership till nov 2012..cool..

My account is all updated under the new Analog International Membership renewal system.
Here's hoping for '11 that under this new system their shipping system policy has changed to something better for Pearl Jam goodies shipped to Canada. Would be great to get an email this time around from 10club with a tracking number (like Kufala) so I know where my Pearl Jam packages are & knowing they will arrive here in a week or 2 instead of waiting 6-8 weeks. It's not rocket science but Canada should be getting packages before anybody outside North America fan's do cause we like across the border of the USA. This theory hasn't been working for many, many, MANY year's. I hope it's fixed now for 2011.
I sent 10c an email about my prepaid membership and they were right on it. I was paid up till 2013 and told them I wanted to upgrade to analog membership. Easy Peasy, they applied my prepaid $20 to the new membership.
For anyone who needs to send cc info to upgrade, I agree, better to call.
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!

I couldn't agree more. The shipping to Canada is terrible and completely unacceptable in my opinion.
