for a band that has punk roots routes and worships some of the legendary punk bands, they sure as fuck don't follow them. you'd never see the ramones or fugazi or social d or bad religion raise their fanclub membership fees.
I don't blame the band members on this..I bet money none of the band members even know about this membership change..

I think the president of the fan club can pretty much do what he wants...So, I am probably thinking the band members know nothing about this new membership options...Post edited by KingJeremyD on0

I'm going analog all the way so yes I will be paying more money but I'm having a ten club tshirt and a boot and who knows probably a few surprises so is still worthy now if you think they're ripping you off you always have a choice just dont renew your membership0

One of the possibly surprises you may get is not receiving a fan club and the t-shirt...I hope they keep to their word this time.

Keep your extra stuff..
I will take the cheaper option and cheer about my pre sale rights...then I will be on ticket master because those tickets are out of stock in 2 seconds and a skeleton error message comes up
I guess I will be less of a fan :roll:i post on the board of a band that doesn't exsist anymore .......i need my head examined.......0 -
No 10c shirts, only pearl Jam shirts and I'll be in 2012.0

Worst news this year so far...
No,...it really sucks. 50$ for the International Membership...I don't want to wear the fucking shirt anyway. Deep Mag...not worth the paper it's printed on. Shows in Europe are General Admission most of the time, so I have no business in buying the expensive 10C tix anyway. So the only deal is the Holiday Single and they know that!!!

Speaking of Bad Religion, I wish PJ could do something like this for their 20th Anniversary celebration -

Ohhhh good point! I'm 5'1. I need small shirts.
Try being a 6'4 full grown man... these shit PJ shirts wouldn't have fit me when i was 12
seriously, Pearl Jam does not make shirts for adult men... their 2xl would barely fit Ed's little ass
6'4! That's a whole lotta man!To be fair, most adult men aren't your size, Hands....you're fucking massive!

As a teacher in Australia I have to pay a yearly fee of $75. That's to be part of the teaching institute. You have to be part of this there is no choice if you want to be registered. A few years ago when it started, and it was ONLY a few years ago it cost $50. What do I get from the
institute? Sweet fuck all!!!! Being a ten club member is a choice. Don't like it? Don't join. At least you get something for it!Melbourne #1 '98

How is that a good thing? How about they send us our freaking holiday single around the holidays before charging us more for it? I would gladly pay the extra money if it meant better communication but we all know they will never do that. Green disease up in here!
I don't care, I will pay it!!!!
me too!!

Kinda scary that a teacher is going to make such a flawed comparison. Will the 10C membership allow you to earn a living? Regardless of there being a choice or not, your institute fee is an investment that enables you to remain employed. Without that, you wouldn't have the money to piss away on a 45 and a t-shirt.My Pearl Jam Photos
