No. Tv has a lot of influence, but most sports were built an established before tv sports were around. All these goofy bowls are driven by tv money

whats even more of a joke is how this colleges profit off these kids. i thought college was a place to learn not a place to profit off kids. . these college athletes should be paid and then we wont have like pryor selling rings and shit just to help out his mom. give these kids a few grand a year. what's a few grand to a school say like ND or usc or others who make millions upon millions every year from these kids.

yeah. i guess they should get a little something to live on. but i don't feel too bad for these guys. i mean they all have their entire college experience paid for.

A.J. Green sold his Independence Bowl Jersey for $1000 and was suspended for four games even after Georgia appealed. I would say in regards to the severity of the penalty on both sides at least the NCAA is being consistent. Of course, we'll see if it sticks through appeal.

They do get paid the aforementioned education.

If the NCAA allowed them to sell thier jerseys then in no time donors would be offering high school students 100s of 1000s for thier jersey if they come play at such and such school.
