They can play on Thur night and travel across the country, but we can't have a playoff because that would be too much for the "student athlete". HYPOCRITES!!!!

this time of year, you are talking confrence games, so they shouldn't be too bad for travel....unless Washington leaves the pac 56 for the ACC.

That's the shitty thing about college football. One loss and you are basically dead, unless you are the overhyped as always SEC. Don't think any 1 loss big ten team is getting in the championship game, and maybe rightfully so. Regardless I'd love a playoff.

Really shouldn't have been surprised. Should have seen this comming when yesterday morning a black cat ran across the road in front of my car. I just screamed "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" when it happened. The Cubs fan in me had bad visions going through my head.

you know where my team affiliation stands....

calling the SEC overhyped is silly...5 straight championships isn't something that needs to be hyped. SEC is the top confrence in america right now.

BIg ten blows this year. bunch of average to below average teams. wisconsin was exposed as a fraud last night. acc and big east both blow. pac 10 doesn't excite. and big whatever their number is now....may or may not have a good team in oklahoma.

Of course I'm being biased. You have won, can't deny that, just not an SEC fan. SEC east is ok (TEN and FL) but SEC west is cheater central, again me being biased.

God I hate ESPiN. I've been home from the game for a half hour and still haven't seen a highlight of the Buckeye game. Those bastards will only report on us if it's bad news. It was the 2nd best game of the day...SHOW THE DAMN HIGHLIGHT!

I dont want to sound like I'm hating on the bucks...that was a great game. I can't believe that pass was completed though. miller threw that pass across his body, 50 yards in the air...and the guy was WIDE OPEN!! What the fuck were the wisconsin d-backs doing???????????? horrible.

I feel bad for russell wilson...that dude is a monster (he's a minor league baseball player too for those that don't know...was a BEAST at NC ST and has gotten a raw deal from his turd teammates at wisconsin. he is learning first hand how bad the big 10 teams are).

I won't argue with you and I couldn't believe the pass was completed either. It looked more like a punt than a pass and it hung in the air for what seemed like forever. Miller might be a good QB someday, but for now he really isn't ready.
What I dont understand though is why every time there is an upset in the Big Ten the conversation immediately becomes how bad the Big Ten is, yet when an upset happens anywhere else it is a "stunning victory" and shows the "depth" of that conference. Wisconsin is still a very good tem. They've lost 2 games on the road, on miricle plays at the end of the game to teams with outstanding defenses, but suddenly they are an awful team? On the other hand, Oklahoma gets beat, not badly, but soundly by Texas Tech and no one says "they weren't as good as we thought", instead it's "The Big 12 is so tough"! Texas Tech immediately gets ranked in the top 25 only to get embarrassed by an awful Iowa State team. The Big Ten is by no means the best conference in the country. They aren't even close. However, just because most of their teams win with defense and not with some gimmick offense, it is perceived that way.

it was an epic game...daddy kiffin prepared the defense pretty good...but lane needs to stop with the fucking whining about the t.o. at the end...woods was down in bounds, clock runs...by the time you can call the timeout the clock expired

the pain of this loss is lessened by the fact that sc is playing for nothing but stanford still has a chance for the championship

Penn state looks horrific every game and yet they are 5-0 in the big ten, only 2 decent wins though. Should be an interesting game in 2 weeks.

i love good defense but their games are so difficult to watch. have a feeling they lose the next 3. hope i'm wrong. at least nebraska is at home.

Yeah man, their defense has been great but you're right, it's been tough to watch. Their qb situation is as bad as it gets.

Next 3 are going to be really tough. I can't see them beating Nebraska, then again I didn't think they would win yesterday.

Wish I was agreeing with you, but unfortunately the Badgers are not a good team. Two completely inexcusable losses. There wasn't a guy within 20 yards of him last night, how the F does that happen? Luckily I was at a wedding so I only caught bits and pieces of it when I went up to the bar. I've got tickets to the Big 10 championship game, and even if they get there, which I doubt will happen, I still might sell them.
