They played really well in the 2nd period but we weatherd the storm

Posts: 58,276the 3rd period was similair to the second. the first 5 minutes of the third was realitivley even, than montreal got it going again and was attacking in waves. they alsmost had a short handed goal when they had a 3 on 1 break, but botched it. just after that is when the flyers got their power play goal.
but they found a way to win, which is the important thing.81 is now off the air0 -

Yeah I agree....BOB kept them in it at times also
Nice to see PK Subban lead to 2 Flyers goals with turnovers
I'm not sure if its every game or just against the Flyers but the crowd loves the dudeMy drinking team has a hockey problem

Watching a game in Montreal is great. very much like watching a flyers home game. Some of the best fans in the world. completely opposite of watching a leaf game which is so boring you can almost fall asleep sometimes.0 -

Hab fan love PK in every game. the kid will be a good player but has to stop making dumb plays and just slow it down.0 -

Richie was quiet tonight
so was crosby. probably not a coincidence, laviolette had them matched up from the opening faceoff
But Crosby got 2 points tonight, I guess that is kind of quiet for him.
both on the PP dude. He couldn't do anything vs richards at even strength0 -
Hey Fixer...I think you need to give your boy Carts some credit
He's been playing tough along the wall with and without the puck
I never thought I'd see him play physicalMy drinking team has a hockey problem

yeah, he has picked it up a little. he's still the same player though...will score goals, can't pass a lick, only plays defense when he feels like it (though he has been better there this year too).
I will never like the guy, but you're right.
I still think they should have given giroux carter's 10 year deal. Like I said when giroux signed, they should have given him more than 3 years (and I was laughed at here).0 -

that's not good. i'd guess that'd be a two month recovery.
i'm so thankful we don't have last years 3rd pairing. every time they were on the ice i was waiting for something bad to happen.
at least now, we have that solid 3rd pair that will relieve some of the pain of a pronger loss.81 is now off the air0 -
