    As a Red Sox fan, I fully appreciate this line of thinking. Pretty sure I didn't bathe for 4 straight days in October 6 years ago because the team just PLAYED BETTER if I didn't.

    Uh... Fisherman's wharf is not really that awesome. The Mission, Noe Valley are more awesome.
    They're not called trolleys, they are cable cars.
    Don't call it "Frisco" or "San Fran" or "SF."
    Skip Alcatraz completely. You can get a great view of the place from the top of Coit Tower if you are so inclined.
