Sorry---I grew up there. Part of growing up in Oiler/Texan country is that you learn how truly evil the Cowboys are.
Just kidding...I don't hate the Cowboys, but I don't like them either. I still hate the Buffalo Bills, though.I LOVE MUSIC.

I think it was a huge mistake, I would have given San Diego Williams for nothing. Williams will be nothing more than a number 3 receiver in the NFL from now on, I would say by week 4 Dez is our number 2, barring injury of course. The thing with Crayton is you could trust him, I doubt Romo trust Williams. Either way the offense should be good and Romo has plenty of weapons to use. The big weak spots on this team lie at safety and the O line, field goal kicking ( which seems to be a constant concern) and of course the biggest concern of all is our inept coaching staff.
See, that's what I think. Crayton got a lot of shit over that dropped ball in the playoff against the Giants in 2007. You could argue it cost the Cowboys the game, but outside of that he has been very reliable and always seems to find a way to get open. Plus, Romo likes him and trusts him.
Hurd is OK I guess but I think we've seen all we need to see out of him. Crayton is better. But, Hurd is a lot younger and he is cheaper and that's why the decision was made. Plus Hurd is probably our best special team player that isn't a punter or kicker.
As much as we all want Roy Williams out of here, that is not going to happen. No one wants that contract in a trade and Jerry will never admit he made a mistake in trading for him in the first place.
I would take Crayton over Roy Williams any day.
Bryant, Austin, Crayton, Hurd, Ogletree > Williams, Bryant, Austin, Hurd, Ogletree.
Agree on the OL comments. That's going to make for an interesting year.
The heat is finally dissipating down here. Only 95 degrees today. Ready for some football!!
Only 95...a cold front moved in. Should be an interesting year. It's just to bad Williams doesn't appear to have the ability to be the 3rd receiver anymore. If Dez has 60 - 70 catches and Austin repeats last year then they probably only need 40 catch's from Williams. It still all depends on the O line, they need to perform. Another area I would like and hope is improved is the amount of turnovers created.

Question: I am in Washington DC right now taking a class. The news last night referred to this week as "Dallas Week". I know Philly does this.
What is up with that?? Are y'all so obsessed with the Cowboys that you re-name weeks after my city??
I am not kidding. The news came on last night and the reporter goes "Welcome to Dallas Week".
I once heard a Philly fan tell me that he considers the season a success if they beat Dallas twice even if they don't make it to the playoffs or win a Super Bowl.
Is that how low the bar is set?
Sorry to disappoint y'all but no one in Dallas calls it "Washington Week" or "Philly Week" because that is not how we measure success. We could give a shit about the Washington Redskins. I guess when your team sucks balls that is all you have to hold on to.DAL-7/5/98,10/17/00,6/9/03,11/15/13

dallas week! hahaha...i love it. we do it here too. we also have giants week too though. dallas is the bigger deal. i think it has to do with all the fraud cowboy fans living in this area though. it adds to the hype.
the season's clearly not a success if we beat dallas twice and dont make the playoffs though. that's crazy. it does make it slightly bearable though.
how long are you in dc? going to the game?
dc is a cool town. i lived around there for a short time about 10 yrs ago. my brothers have lived down there too at one point or another.www.myspace.com0 -

He looked really good in the opening preseason game before hurting his hand and missing hte last 3 games. corners are servicable at best. who knows about the other safty.
LB are good as long as Brian doesn't age overnight
line has potential Harris looked good in the preseason.
O line is hte biggest issue.81 is now off the air0 -
