Great show. I expect some rarer songs for MSG but the setlist was good anyway. I finally heard State of Love and Trust and Mankind. Energy was much better than Newark. Love Reign O'er Me and I Believe in Miracles were amazing covers. Band was spot on besides the false start for Crazy Mary. Tonight was great but I think tomorrow night will top it. Oh and I can't believe that I got You Are 3 shows in a row now and Indifference 2 in a row!severed hand thirteen2006: Gorge 7/23 2008: Hartford 6/27 Beacon 7/1 2009: Spectrum 10/30-31

So despite my high 10c number I ended up in section 111 row B, and all the times you hear Ed talk about feeling the place shake I always thought was an exaggeration, but during the beginning of Evolution then Jeremy you can feel the floor move :shock:0

What a night... Crowd energy was off the charts and the band super tight. I expect a more mixed set tomorrow but Porch was amazing & I got You Are & Indifference twice in a row

This is one bootleg I can't wait for. THANK YOU PEARL JAM!!!"He who hears music, feels his solitude peopled at once" R. Browning0 -

I dont care if you want to talk about the setlist, but, if you were in the building you will be changed.
My 22 show and i feel like i took ecstasy. Nothing will ever be as good as tonight, it will be hard for tomorrow to be better. The energy, the tightness, the crowd (OMG) and the music. The fans around me, everything was perfect. I never, and i mean never, thought i would witness a show this good. Other shows may have been great before (Philly, Mansfield, Boston, State College) but this was something that can never be repeated.
Thank you pearl jam, ten club, new york city, and god for allowing me to be a part of what i was tonight.
I can't believe how many fanviews look like this for each show. I was at Hartford and Boston and could say the same for both. I think we are blessed to get any of these shows. They are easliy at the top of their game right now. Good times, good times! How I choose to feel is how I am.0 -
WOW!!! Speechless! Tomorrow night is going to be the BEST!"You think I got my eyes closed but I'm lookin' at you the whole fuckin' time..."0

My 17th show . . . a special one certainly in my top 3 including Mansfield III 2003 . . .
Great 10C tix a few rows side stage from Stone. Thought the setlist was genius - a slow build to full throttle - sort of like one of ed's ocean waves - it built, crested then slammed home. Don't understand the comments about lack of rarities. Breakerfall? Mankind? Lukin w/a string quartet? Army Reserve? I Believe in Miracles? Then a massive attack at the end which yes focused on more familiar Ten/Yield era stuff but since when is this supposed to be disappointing?
Interesting side note: The Olsen twins showed up and sat directly in front of me and my brother in law (first PJ show - he appreciated it but it is too heavy for his tastes). They had a couple fatass bodyguards and sat most of the show, too cool for school. It was ironic to see them in their designer jeans that probably cost a grand and passing around lip gloss during the show while our guys are up there in boots and t-shirt and jeans singing about everyday sacrifice in songs like Army Reserve. Anyway, I'll write a separate post on this and throw up a picture too. Thank you PJ, MSG, NYC.I gather speed . . . "Army Reserve"! Finally! And now I can check off "Pearl Jam." 41 shows, and then there were three:
"Around The Bend"
"Bugs"
"I'm Open"
Please, please, please give me the trifecta tomorrow night!
Can anyone answer this-- I counted 34 songs on the set list, and "Lukin" was not one of them. They played 33 songs, including "Lukin." What two songs were on the set list but not played?I gather speed from you fucking with me.0 -
John McEnroe was in the VIP section Stoneside, by himself.I gather speed from you fucking with me.0

Omigod fucking awesome!!!!!!! I didn't have great seats (section 304) but it was no comparison to Hartford (sorry Hartford) even though I had fan clubs seats there and was much closer to the stage. Energy at MSG was UNBELIEVABLE. I have to process but I can't wait till tomorrow and see what fan club tickets I get (lottery, please please please!).0

Crowd energy was really good. i thought the set list was ok. This was not the best show or the worst show. Somewhere in the middle.0

Me, my bothers, and my girlfriend all walked from 181st to MSG because today was a Jewish holiday and we couldn't take the train. It was totally worth the 150-block hike.
Not the rarest show I've seen, but still a great, high energy, and hit-packed show that never let up.
This was number 11 for me, and I can't imagine stopping anytime soon.Pearl Jam: 9/4/00 7/1/03 5/30/06 6/22/08 6/24/08 6/25/08 8/23/09 8/24/09 10/28/09 10/31/09 5/20/10 10/15/13 8/7/16 9/2/18 9/4/18 9/5/23 9/7/23 8/29/24 8/31/24

That was amazing. I went with my friend and her tickets got us to the 13th row-closer than I've ever been in my life! I haven't seen them in 2 years so it was great to be back. They played Low Light like at my first MSG show- and so happy I got to hear You Are and Love Reign O'er Me. I was jumping up and down as much as I could - I think Eddie started getting hoarse near the end. I also heard Jeremy for the 1st time at this my 7th show-so happy. That song is one I remember from when it came out-it means a lot to me. Insignificance rocked. Also, I noticed the Olsen twins to my side and they were definitely sitting. Except at the end one of them was swinging her head around to Porch. While sitting. Can't wait for tomorrow!I'm the Peachmeister!

I loved it. Had so much fun. great setlist. So much energy. I feel like they shined the lights on our section first (floor 8) when Alive started because we were rocking so hard.R.i.p. Rigoberto Alpizar.
