Posada has a mild right calf strain. He'll be available on an emergency basis. If the Yankees promote a third catcher, they'll have to add him to the 40-man roster. Since I doubt they would promote Montero for a few days, I'd expect to see Chad Moeller.Reading 2004

i know he was doing well. it's sad that we're gonna have to lose one of these catchers in a trade at some point.I miss igotid880 -
Honestly, I would think about moving Cervelli sooner than later. He does not really have a spot on the team long term unless it is stricly a back up catcher. He was never projected to be able to hit big league pitching and he is playing his ass off. I love watching him play but I also like selling high on a kid like that who is not going to be around forever.0
