    Posada has a mild right calf strain. He'll be available on an emergency basis. If the Yankees promote a third catcher, they'll have to add him to the 40-man roster. Since I doubt they would promote Montero for a few days, I'd expect to see Chad Moeller.

    i know he was doing well. it's sad that we're gonna have to lose one of these catchers in a trade at some point.

    Honestly, I would think about moving Cervelli sooner than later. He does not really have a spot on the team long term unless it is stricly a back up catcher. He was never projected to be able to hit big league pitching and he is playing his ass off. I love watching him play but I also like selling high on a kid like that who is not going to be around forever.

    I hear you, depending on the report you read, Girardi was not real worried. They knew he had soemthing going on and let him pitch today so that is good. Hopefully the MRI is just precautionary.
