A grade two groin injury requires about one to two months to recover. So I'd imagine that either Triple-A outfielders Greg Golson and Chad Huffman might take his spot on the roster, though they could also use Pena in the outfield since he played there last year in Triple-A.

What about Colin Curtis? I think he is mashing (could be wrong though). I heard 2-4 weeks at first but have not looked into it too much.

He is hitting .339, but he's not on the 40-man roster. I don't know if the Yankees want to risk losing someone through waivers, especially since any outfielder promoted from the minors isn't going to start for Granderson.

Tampa Bay has played five games against teams over .500 (Oakland and the Yankees) and have won three of them.

They have their first West Coast trip this week followed by five at home against Seattle and Cleveland. Then they visit the Bronx and Houston before hosting the Red Sox and White Sox.

Nice, great info dude, I was too lazy to look it up at 1:30 in the morning. Defintely makes me feel better about their hot start, they can't keep it up.

And the Yanks took 2 of 3 from them.

If there ever was contrasting starts in extreme directions this weekend was it. I'd guess that Vazquez doesn't make that start Friday in Boston.
