you didnt have to wait in line for a half hour???? we were down the right field line and everywhere we tried the lines sucked

So was I. Pretty much right next to the foul pole in 137. I didn't wait in line because there was always a beer dude coming by. And that ballpark sucks. New, sure, but nothing but concrete.

ah, i was up in 226. maybe it's the upper level that blows. we saw ONE beer chick in our section for the first 3 innings. so we left our seats for greener pastures

The best part was there was no one even warming up in the bullpen in the 9th. Uncle Charlie found his new closer 1 out of every 5 starts. DOC

man, all you had to do was complain and the bats came alive.

You've probably heard it before but, Hamels had some bad luck today as well ... barely hit Dunn's shirt for a HBP (Dunn never moved, he didn't even WANT to go to first base), and infield hit, I didn't see the Marquis double, but, box score says to shallow left, which, doesn't sound hard hit.

    I like Hamels this year.

i'm at work so i am just watching gamecast...but come on cole. he now has a 5.06 era verses the god damn nationals. he's 2-0 of course cuz our offense is a f'ing juggernaut. but we need better than mediocre out of him.

    also ibanez was 0-3...

none the less, i will take 5-1 to start the season

oh yeah--6-1....one more to tie the '93 team's start! this start is really similiar to that team too in that we played houston on the road before coming back for the home opener. also--george hw bush was at this series and the 93 series too

of course, y'all fail to mention Rollins was scratched (from the home opener) with a strained calf and Werth was pulled after striaining his hip.

werth is fine....the strained calf is the same thing shane and dobbs had a couple years ago. we might be looking at j roll out for a few weeks. hopefully the mri comes back clean...

    why?

you gotta be a little concerned at this point. there are positives though. better body language, better fast ball, etc etc etc....

if rollins goes to the dl, do we move shane to leadoff and castro to 7th hole?

    how bout polanco leading off?

Whatever we do Polanco has to stay in the two hole. And i don't know if u move shane, i think they want him to get use to batting in the 7 hole. i wouldn't be suprised if Castro leads off while Rollins is out.

Maybe because he has an ERA over 5.00 against the worst team in the NL ?

I just dont trust him to be dominant again
