Man HATE is such a strong word. As much as i can't stand the Canadiens I can't hate them either and they are the worst for me in all of hockey.

Man I left the game with 17 minutes left (B's up1-0) in the 3rd and somehow the B's go down to the Canadiens 4-1. What the hell happened?

Some seriously bone headed plays in the defensive end for the Bruins, and we jumped on them.
We took the second period off, but that wasn't surprising.

Nice way to end this season high 7 game road trip with a 3-2 win over the Islanders. TT was huge in net with Lucic and Krejci with scores winning 6 out of 7 now with 69 points and 7th spot for the playoffs. Nice

    Keep the B-train a rolling.

shhhhhhhhhh ... no one tell the NHL that for some reason, the last two Bruins games have not been blacked out on NESN (via DirecTV) ... nice to see live B's games.

Good test today vs. the Pens.

The good news ... the Bruins scored 5 goals, in one game! Man, it usually takes them 2 - 3 games to score 5 goals!

The bad news - Marc Savard, out for the season! :x

Still in 8th place with 80 points for the playoffs but a power laden 5-0 victory over the Flames. Finally the power play comes alive with 3 tallies and 2 even strength goals. Another shutout with supreme goaltending from Tim Thomas as Flames head coach went balistic over calls or non calls.

Will Tim Thomas play again this year after getting pulled last night against the Sabres?
  • Hopefully not,

I have stuck up for Timmy T all year but its clear right now Tuukka is the better goalie. Even though he won the Vezina last year, and the Bs will have to stick with him the next couple of years and hopefully he bounces back, in order for this team to go anywhere they will have to ride Rask. Hopefully he can get a few spot starts the rest of the way and perform like he did against Calgary. The team just plays better too in front of Rask (with the exception of maybe Wideman) and if they have a chance of getting out of the first round Rask will have to steal a couple of games for them to advance.

If the B's had about 3 Pavel Bure's in his prime, they would be doint a lot better than 8th place. No goal scorers = no advancement in playoffs. Has anyone hit 30 goals yet? 20???

I say trade Thomas and Bergeron to Tampa for Stamkhouse (the 45 goal scorer). Of course they'd want a pick too so maybe a 2nd rounder?
  • Yeah, theyve got a couple of 20 goal scorers, but agreed definitely lack of offense not goaltending has been the team's problem all year. If they could get Stamkos from Tampa that would be unbelievable but don't think it is going to happen since he is their best player and so young, Tampa will build their team around him. I think it will be tough to trade Thomas since they signed him for such a big deal, which looks stupid right now. They need to pick up a couple of goal scorers though. Maybe someone in the draft this year will help make them a contender again, because they are not that far away.
