Bump for this - I'm not a Budweiser or Bud Light drinker, but I was strapped for cash to pay for what I wanted so I decided to try out the new Bud Light Golden Wheat....it's really not too bad...not my first choice, but for a cheaper selection...this will suffice.
Cheers to you all, fucking work tomorrow. :roll:7/2/06 - Denver, CO

That's some tasty beer!
Actually, I'm a huge fan of anything Sierra Nevada.
Their new spring beer "Glissade" is damn good too!
I did not realize that the torpedo is like 6.5%-now I know why the call it torpedo
I have heard that but have yet to see Glissade at my local shop
Ive been trying to get my hands on the life and limb (dogfish sierra collaboration)-no luck so far though0 -

Has anybody had Moose Drool? A friend of mine said some good things about it the other day. I think I'm going to pick some of this up at my next stop to the liquor store.

I'm a homebrewer too. It's fun!
Someone had asked about Hoegaarten (sp) alternatives. Try Allagash White!
Last night had the River Horse winter seasonal - it was awesome! Not spiced with nutmeg or anything like that either.
I stocked up on porters/stouts - winners: Southern Tier Dark Porter, Butternuts Moo Thunder Stout, Anchor Porter (as always).
Anyone try Victory Storm King Stout. Honestly, it's not my favorite. Not very nuanced to me - just really strong.Spectrum 10/27/09; New Orleans JazzFest 5/1/10; Made in America 9/2/12; Phila, PA 10/21/13; Phila, PA 10/22/13; Baltimore Arena 10/27/13; Phila, PA 4/28/16; Phila, PA 4/29/16; Fenway Park 8/7/16; Fenway Park 9/2/18; Asbury Park 9/18/21; Camden 9/14/22; Las Vegas 5/16/24; Las Vegas 5/18/24; Phila, PA 9/7/24; Phila, PA 9/9/24; Baltimore Arena 9/12/24; Pittsburgh 5/16/25; Pittsburgh 5/18/25

I want to homebrew so badly, but I don't have a dishwasher, and frankly I don't want to manually sanitize...I just don't have that much free time.

I don't use my dishwasher in homebrewing. Sanitizing the bottles is kind of a pain. Otherwise, it's all pretty easy. Just need a good shop to get you started. Really? I've been misguided then, everything I've read has said that without a dishwasher, sanitizing is kind of a pain in the ass and a very timely process.7/2/06 - Denver, CO
