Tattoos are a personal choice, and a form of expression..you don't have to like them, just the person sporting one does!!
Could say the same for cars,... the only thing lamer than a Custom Pink Subaru WRX with LoL GT stripes is a Custom Pink Subaru WRX with LoL GT stripes and a Sub Woofer installed...
It's not 'lame', it's just not every ones thing!! :|

I wish i was a neutron bomb, for once i could go off
True enough. I should have prefaced that statement with "To me". To me the only thing lamer than a tattoo is a band tattoo.

I would imagine that even the most badass tattoo gets boring to look at after a week or so. Why not just wear the exact same shirt every day for the rest of your life?

Lol. I like that: cleanskin. I think that more young people are inked these days because of the "coolness" factor that ink carries with it right now. But seriously the people who got barbed wire armbands or Japanese Kanji that say "I'm retarded" instead of "love / zen" have got to be regretting it somewhat at this point.

  • I have no doubt someone would regret getting im retarded tattooed on them. *pardon my unpc use of the word retard*

But we aren't talking about that
Were talking about our much loved band tributes

Well, it is lamest to call something lame that you have never even experienced.

I have tattoos that are several years old on my back and I pull a mirror out daily because they are beautiful art. I also have one on my wrist that I can see at all times, and it reminds me how I need to be living my life. The heart, with the man I love's name in it, on my foot has been there for 15 years and I love to look at it even to this day.

Each one has a story, a deep meaning that applies to my life, reminds me to be a better person. It has been a cleansing, almost spiritual experience to get each one. They tell a story.

I can't believe that you have come in a thread about tattoos and call them lame...you have no clue.
  • Love all your tattoos!

    Here is mine: left wrist.

Ooof! Each to their own I guess, but I couldn't disagree more.

Music is always open to interpretation, and people can draw what they want from it.

My stickman is a great reminder from what I was at the lowest point In my life a while back, and a very good friend, in a bizzare way of dragging me out of it, said "But at least you're still alive". Been toying with the idea of having "Nothing left to subtract" put round it as a reminder that no matter how bad things are, as long as you're still alive, things can always improve

Fair enough. I've said my peace and derailed this thread more than I intended. Carry on talking about locations of stickman tattoos. At my first PJ show, I thought that a stickman tattoo was required for entry onto the floor.

Glad you said your peace...I understand now...small town Ontario, and you must not have anything better to do than try to berate people on a band's message board, about something very personal, to make yourself feel significant.

Lol. I have actually been to Arizona and you really shouldn't be saying anything about nothing to do in small town Ontario.

Always thought tattoos were really beautiful (if meaningful, of course), and always wanted to get one. Would have gotten one this year for my birthday, but the Mom said no, I could get one next year. So, next year I'll be getting my first tattoo, which will definitely be PJ related.

I have a million ideas in mind, but I think I'm gonna go with a small Stickman on either my neck or my ankle, with the hebrew word for life 'chai' instead of the word 'Alive' for my first.
Would also love 'Given to Fly' in Ed's writing (like in the Yield booklet) sometime in the future, maybe on my wrist?

Glad that there is someone in this thread who can have a little laugh at themselves once in a while.

When you go to Japan, all you see are kids with english words tattooed on their back. It's very profound.
