We don't speak of the dead here remember? :)

I like discussions about YIELD, it's philosophies, Single Video Theory, the 1998 tour, Mark Pellington and Adam Schwartz.

Sadly, the herd has been thinned.

Are you seriously going to Seattle for this? I want to celebrate this milestone occasion, but it will have to be low key.

    1. I'm poor.
    2. PissBottleBoy will still only be a year old

    1. You can sell baby clothes as he grows out of them.

    2. Bring him along for the cute baby contest. He'll win in a landslide.

I didn't know there would be contests and door prizes.

Can someone get Jack Irons on the phone? We need a celebrity autograph session.

It's not like they didn't have an outpouring of requests for that along the Ohio River.

    It's been here for a while. :p

A good live show for me has to have some YIELD on the setlist.

    It's been too long....
downloaded some 06 boots nice....very nice

been listening to a bunch of gospel-grass lately, forgot about PJ...
but it's good to be back
there's too much music out there to worry about live PJ coming back again...
saw em four times in 05-06, can't complain

but, my YIELD cd still pwns....still brings it back
    gonna listen right now

um, other than that, YIELD rawks
but one dude (or girl, very important, mostly girls these days) with an acoustic guitar can make incredible music....there's something to be said for simplicity.

went to Kentucky, very YIELD, learned a ton, need to chill out....very selfless, feeling something along those lines lately, but....music is an escape...
    um...YIELD on

I did NOT let the dogs out
    um

    rawk

    girls and acoustics...
    makes the world go round

    I think that's my testament

    until then,

    dawg
Teamwork. Rawk. Pwnage. Infinite Possibilities. YIELD. Hells yeah.

YIELD is an even better album to listen to whilst drinking Natural Light. Or some say it is...

    Hell yes it is! :D

Spring 2007 is off to an impressive start. Just got back from a glorious vaca. Hellz yeah. I got a lot of sun and listened to a helluva lot of YIELD, but surprisingly more of 8 than that one.

As Ed said at Camden 1 2006: "And hello, summer....."

Indeed, it's not quite summer yet; it's Spring. And the best thing about Spring is that you have all the awesome weather of Spring plus the entire Summer ahead of you.

Most surprising event of vacation: Whilst at Nassau in the Bahamas, we went to a local tiki bar, and they had episodes of "Matlock" in constant rotation on their tv. No, I don't get it, either.

I think Yield just might be the greatest Pearl jam album. I have been listening to it over the past 3 days and I cant believe how new the album still sounds to me.
    anyone else agree ?

I had a good year in 1998, and that album defines it with an exclamation point. Easily my favorite.
Pick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)

I have been listening to Yield over the past 3 or 4 days and fell in love with that album all over again. It takes me back to the countless hours in front of San fransico rush and Golden eye for the N64...I also was listening to MFC when i heard on the Radio that Frank Sinatra Had died. While the album will never mean what it once did, it's still great to listen to it once in awhile.

Damn, to bring back 1998 again...Good times.
