"Things were different then...all is different now"
Wasn't in the fanclub back in '98...had to travel 6 hours to see a show...sat in the nosebleeds....heard Hard to Imagine.
Those were the days.

Did you all know that first Wallflowers record sold more copies than any Bob Dylan records ever did?
That's what Ian MacKaye said....assuming it's true.Teamwork. Rawk. Pwnage. Infinite Possibilities. YIELD. Hells yeah.0 -

Even though I only went to one show, it was a pretty good one to be at YIELD setlist-wise.No longer overwhelmed it seems so simple now.0 -

Do you think Jacob brings that up at family dinners?
I was shocked that the Wallflowers were touring with PJ that year. They weren't bad...considering I wasn't that into them and I was stoked for PJ to take stage.0 -

5 YIELD songs...not great, but what do you expect in Knoxville?

I wish I went to more shows for the 98 tour.
Definitely the best tour IMO.....The anticipation was so great I saw them during the Ten tour in 92 was blown away....but didn’t get another chance to see them until 98. Made it worth my while seeing three shows that tour; Vancouver, Seattle II, and was even able to work an East coast show in Toronto / Barrie. The last two being GA shows with amazing energy!!!Van 92.07.21 / Van 98.07.19 / Sea 98.07.22 / Tor 98.08.22 / Sea 00.11.06 / Van 03.05.30/ Van 05.09.02/ Gorge 06.07.22 & 23 / EV Van 08.04.02 / Tor 09.08.21 / Sea 09.09.21 & 22 / Van 09.09.25 / Van 11.09.25 / Van 13.12.04 / Pem 16.07.17 / Sea 18.08.100 -

Here's mine. Number 1 is easy, way ahead of any song by anyone, 2-5 are in a pack of songs which are the best in rock history, followed by other packs of tunes that would be the best tracks on most other albums.

Great album all the way. "Yield","No Code" and the last album "Pearl Jam" are my fav PJ albums. I love everything on Yield but especially I love "In Hiding"(which is my all time fav song of PJ),"Low Light","All Those Yesterdays" and "Faithfull". "Given To Fly" and "Wishlist" are absolute classics.Innocence Is A Face That Always Lies.0

dswhere was it when they played it for the first time?
my favorite line outta that song, 'two birds is what they'll see, getting lost upon their way', that precise moment with the sun dropping in the horizon, i'll never forget it. that's the great thing about this band, the memories one is left with.0 -

DEFINITELY at the gorge was a GORGEous experience
hearing Lowlight in that setting?! In NATURE as the sun set on the horizon! WOW!! Talk about pure beauty!
Also I have to note, MSG I, when they played Faithfull. I love it when Eddie said 'raise a toast for belief'BEST moment EVER!! And also hearing LOWLIGHT w/VEDHEAD27 at our VERY first show together, when we brought the LOW LIGHT signs to MSG. We almost got kicked out of the venue for holding them up. hahaha
I remember after one of the songs, she was like, 'okay. during the first encore, we are going to hold up the signs' I was like 'okay. got it' and then the next song they played was LOW LIGHT and she just fell on her knees, shocked, eyes bulging out and I literally had to pick her up from the floor. Then she came to, and we held the signs. *sighs* GOOD TIMES!
Now if I hear All Those Yesterdays and No Way, I will be one happy clam!! Dø~ø~ø~ø~ø~ø~ø~ø~ø~ø~ø~ø~ø~

I'll be honest, when they first started playing it in Chi-Town, I thought they were starting NO WAY.
Either way, it was a nice surprise.
