    Go Alex. Another 30hr/100rbi season. And all he needed was 2 hr and 7rbis to get there. All in one inning. A record for him. And the Yankees broke their team HR record with 244.

    Is Joba a definite for the bullpen in the playoffs or is it still up in the air?

    Hard to believe this is the first time the Yanks have led the majors in HR since 1961. But then again Yankee Stadium really was a pitchers ballpark.

    I'm loving this Tiger/Twins game. Both teams using a lot of players and energy. I think the Tigers want to lose. Mental mistakes.

    So yanks picking to start tmrw......silly question.
    By picking this option did they select the longer (2 days off) series? With potential to face & throw the # 1 starter twice??

    yep, so that means if there's a fifth game, burnett will start that.

    So we're facing the Twins. Even though a lot of us wanted them as opponents. I'm scared of the way they're playing as of late. They might not have better pitching. But the Yanks have looked foolish against nobodies at times.

    I'm kind of scared too. I mean they are due right? Plus Momentium is on their side.

    We just need the starters to pitch the way they can. This is why CC & AJ had the bank trucks back up to their houses in the offseason.

    LET'S GO YANK-EES!!!!

    No need to be nervous fellas. I don't care how hot the twins have been. Their bullpen is in shatters, their starting pitching is not all that great, Morneau is out and they have Carl Pavano.

    So pumped for tonight!!!

    That would a lot of fun, kicking around Pavano in a game just like they did to Farnsworth last week.
