Um... yeah, I'm confused.. why is showing this a bad thing? That's a science-based movie about how our current eco system isn't sustainable. That's not political opinion or religion, it's just fact that if we clear-cut the forest and throw it into a dump that eventually we'll run out of forests and run out of room for dumps.

As to what you said...
1-You missed my point. If there is just one child whose parents do not want them to be taught that Obama is an inspirational figure, then that decision should be respected. It is not the public school system's place to decide how our children should be raised, and there are a lot of folks who don't like His morals and therefore do not want their children being taught that he is a good person. I do not understand why you called me Bertha?

2-I said the "dear leader" what most people would recognise as a reference to how children are taught to view various radical leaders, in this instance I was thinking of Fidel and Raul.

3-You can teach about government without making it political. In the sense of 'choose a side' type politics, like what is being heavily debated in this, and many other forums amoung adults.

5-During the campaign, and directly after being elected, Obama kept talking about how he wanted children as young as 5 to be taught what sex is in school.

I did not attack you, I would appreciate it if you would refrain from attacking me any further.

You do know that what he spoke of in the campaign was that children should be educated on sexual predators so they know how to avoid being victims, right? Right? You're smart enough to know that, right?
