Who expected to be "handed" anything? Tickets were purchased and expectations were made based on the club's own policies. Try again, sweetie. :)

Not complaining, but I think there may have been some problems and mixups there as well. I have a crappy number, but I didn't expect to practically be in the lawn. I understand that places like the Tweeter Center (or whatever they call it now) are narrow and go far back so seating can be a little difficult. One thing I was told is that amphitheaters like these that only hold summer shows have season ticket holders that may get first dibs on shows. This may have been part of the problem. I'm sure ticketmaster gets a certain amount of reserved seats in there as well...and some may be better then ten club. I don't know anything for sure, but judging by the number of seat complaints from this place, it seams like something was up as it wasn't just a few isolated incidents.

With that said, I didn't let it get to me. The show was amazing and I can't wait for MSG!

Nah that's ok. Thanks for chiming in but these people are customers and didn't get what they thought they ordered so they have every right to be disappointed. I don't agree with the name calling at all but it would be cool if they got some sort of answers. Maybe they did via private message form kat?

As always, when someone has a question for the Ten Club, they should write to the Ten Club. info@tenclub.net, auction@tenclub.net, tickets@tenclub.net, etc.

    Dude... chill out.

Its been like 15 minutes since last night's show was over.

If there was a problem with the venue employees its going to take time for the 10C to look into it.

I'm sure 80% of the venue people haven't even shown up for work yet today.

Do you think the 10C is going to start calling these people at home and interrogating them?

This whole fan club seating thing has become a headache. I wonder if they regret it. I'm actually glad I let my membership lapse so I don't have to worry about it anymore or go pick up tickets at the show, lol. And my number was nice and low, too. :D
  • If the TenClub spent all of their time following up on every complaint they received, they would not be the TenClub, they'd be Pearl Jam's customer service hotline. So when your letters and emails are met with silence, don't be that surprised. The TenClub is not a charity, nor is it a full service business whose solvency relies on meticulously addressing the complaints of all its customers. TenClub is a fanclub who happens to go above and beyond the call of duty for its members.

The pervasive sense of entitlement that is laden through this thread is overwhelming and, quite frankly, embarrassing. TenClub has made it clear through its attentive track record that while it isn't able to solve every problem, it cares about Pearl Jam fans and makes diligent efforts to right any wrongs imposed on fans by either their hand (often clerical) or someone else's (in the "Inside Job" Tampa ticket tampering case, http://forums.pearljam.com/showthread.php?t=289810).

Looking at the seat tracker you can see the numbers are pretty consistent until it gets to 164xxx. Those guys are all in the back of 204. Then once you get past 164xxx it is like it picks up where it left off. So weird.

For the record, I am 262xxx. I didn't go to Camden this year, but if I did it looks like I would have had exactly the same area as I had at Camden in 2006 - within the frirst 3 or 4 rows of one of the 200 sections.

Whatever happened has to be an isolated mistake - why would it only affect the 164xxx numbers?

Actually at this point the 10club is a business that makes millions of dollars a year.

Really, that's what you were saying? It had nothing to do with what you quoted beforehand? Yeah, go "play with the grown ups in another thread." AKA, go try to talk to other people who won't hand you your ass on a "silver platter." ;)
