We wouldn't have cared where our seats were. We just wanted to be in the building.

That kind of experience has stuck with me over the years. I don't go into any show *hoping* for anything. I just take what I get, am happy to be in the building, and I'm never disappointed. Sometimes, however, I am pleasantly surprised.

It works for me, anyway.

you are just right,,i travel from greece to italy ,venice and 3 hours before pj play a storm broke the scene and the concert canceled,,,the only thing matters is to be inside the concert and see them play!!!!!!!!!!seats thing is a piece of shit!!!!

Get over yourself! I love the fact the 10C is mixing it up for fans who never have a chance to be up close and personal with the band.

What ever happened to people directly contacting someone else to smooth out a problem, as opposed to flogging them on a message board?

I know that people get frustrated when things don't go as expected, but do they really think that being bitchy is really going to help their cause?

sliteofjeff, I'm so old, I remember standing in line that wrapped around the building to buy tickets through TM to only get to the window to have them say SOLD OUT.

i was 316xxx and was in section 200 row G...seats werent great but the section was AWFUL, myself and a guy i met in VA beach were the only ones rockin out...well my father was pretty into it but the rest of the section was awful

It definitely looks like there was a ticket problem and I can feel for the OP and his frustration.

But he should have let the 10c look into first before blasting them here.

There are a ton of explanations for how this happened.... human error, dishonest people at the venue, etc.

But the 10C and the band is providing us with a courtesy as far as access to tickets goes and there's no guaranteed right to getting tickets to every show you want or where you'll sit.

All that being said...the 10C could be a little better in how they communicate with the fans.

There's too many vague answers and the information trickles out in a painfully slow process.

And last but not least... last night's show rocked - bring it on again tonight, guys!

& To those who are complaining about people "bitching." We are told we are getting a certain something & have every right to be upset or disappointed when we don't receive it. We'll see how unnecessary or whatever complaining is when it happens to you.

They don't owe anyone anything! Just goes to show how much our society EXPECTS to be handed everything on a silver platter. Just be greatful you have enough food, money and gas to get to these shows.

I disagree... they do owe us the courtesy of looking into the situation and replying in a timely manner.

But there was no need for the OP to dump on them before they looked into the situation and got back to him.

that's the problem...replying. i have been a pearl jam fan since '91 and in the club since '98 and do you think the 10 club or the pearl jam camp got back to me when i wrote a long letter about being threatened by one of their security guards at a show for no reason at all????? NO. the ten club or pearl jam's management didn't care one bit to get back to me to say sorry or we'll look into it. i love pearl jam and ALWAYS will but certain things need to be dealt with in a timely manner. it seems they ignore some things and that's not right.

NOT TRUE! I've had my share of front row seats ,and shitty seats(Indiana-03). I'm just greatful when I have tickets and can afford to attend shows.

I believe that Columbia also had some problems with the ticketing not following the policy, but I've accepted the fact that I'll probably never have all that good of seats.....
