i don't have a problem with the performance, just the ticket distribution and how i was screwed over. With absolutely no one explaining what happened and what they are going to do to compensate for the mistake. i cant even get a reply to my email.
Is this the first time you've sent something to them?

Their replies, when they come, never come this quick.

    Heh, compensate? Dream on.

    3) IF possible the 10C should have a master list of who got which tix so if there is a discrepancy they know immediately that something hinky is going on.

I realize that number 3 may not be possible because of the time it would take to do that and the money it would cost (gotta pay the person etc)
I also realize that it might cost 10C more money to have the tix a different colour so that might not be practical either...but its something to think about.

I don't think it would be too hard. The ticket invoice number in your 10c profile could correlate to the ticket assigned to you. I would think that once they get the seats it could just be simple data entry on a spreadsheet like you said. It would maybe take about 2 hours per show to do.

Anything can be made better. Personally I've never had a problem with anything other than trying to get a high demand item due to the terrible server issues.

This CLEARLY isn't an issue with the venue....

There were FAR too many people that got screwed...

Like it or not, the right thing to do is to apologize for YOUR screw up and make it up to your members who have been loyal for over 10 years. PERIOD.

  • There were at least 3 rows of us that I talked to who were in the last 3 rows of section 204. All of us pissed. We are never further away that row 13 and tonight based on seniority we are in the last 3 rows of the amphiteater. We were so far at the end there were only about 15 people in the last 4 rows total. We were all about 15 feet from the lawn. There was a guy who was in the fan club for a year and a half who was 5 rows in front of us.

I also knew people with an 181xxx number who was in section 103(non lottery row).

We all said we were calling the 10 club tonight to vent.

all ten club members should be in a lottery, just because someone joined the ten club doesnt mean ur any more of a fan than someone who joined after you.
i'm 21 and have loved the band for long as i can remember and was only able to get a club membership few years ago when i got a credit card and my number is 367xxx so by seniority i would always be near back or club but dont care cus im at show..
Would be pissed off if someone got tickets thru ticketmaster or similar and were infront of ten club members no doubt bought it

i got front row brisbane 2 in 2006...y because i got it off ebay for $150AUS thru some someone selling it cus im in New Zealand and band didnt come here so count urslef lucky even get to go to a show at all!!!

yeah, I'm with you - they should make it all lottery - would be a lot more fun and less fighting ;) - this seniority thing is lame, it divides us as fans.

I really do not understand why people are saying to stop your crying. If you walk into Mcd's and order a big mac but they give you nuggets you would be pissed. You ordered ten club tickets based on seniority, obviously you did not get what you paid for. And I do believe they have paid their dues in time and money every year. I am a middle #219xxx and am not going to any shows I just see this from the outside looking in. The lottery is great, but stick to what was advertised. 1,2,9,10 rows are lottery no other rows. 398xxx should not have better seats than 164xxx UNLESS they won the lottery. PERIOD!!!!!

You're absolutely right. They have a right to gripe, just not a right to call out and blame everyone and everything when no one has a clue(yet) as to why this happened.

Agreed, it should have been handled better but I am not arguing that . Just as you said he has a right to be pissed and get an explanation, he/she should understand that the ten club is on tour and he will get an explanation in time... they are not servants catering to our every needs and gripes....

no shit. it's been 24 fucking hours between two shows. They've at least acknowledged something isn't right. let them figure out what that is first. obviously they can't do it right this fucking second.

have a little god damned patience.

well, I know there is some sort of solid system (which somehow failed you). I got to my seats tonight, which were vastly different than Camden I, and everyone in my row was in the same exact order as the row the night before. I didnt realize the ticketing was that precise.

seniority is a novel idea but for this mini tour they seem to shake things up to give other people a chance at getting to see the band up close. I have a decent number and usually end up with half way decent seats but for the most part I'm there and happy to be there. I'm sure you have been to 20 shows in row 13, so you had one bad seat, get over it........I was one of the lucky ones who won first row on thursday and was happier than a pig in sh1t who danced and sang my a$$ off all night and then tonight had the last row of seats and couldn't be happier as I was there and I hope whoever scored my seat from the night before had just as good a time as i was lucky enough to have the night before!!!!!!

doesn't the band get sick of looking at the same faces in the front row tour after tour?
No time to be void and save up on life, you gotta spend it all.

10c could start addressing heartbreaking depressive crises like this by giving you exclusive seats for the next show.... outside the venue.

20 posts since you've come back to the show, and every single one is about seating and not one about how you felt about the actual performance.

    Priorities, people!

That's because the thread is about seating. Note the title of the thread:
