not sure how long it will take for people to understand...

    THE BAND RECORDS EVERY SHOW!

just because you see what you think might be recording equipment does not mean that they are releasing/planning to release it. I just think it's comical that after all these years, people still think "look, there are some mics, they must be releasing this show!"

Totally agree-the FLAC versions of those shows are pretty amazing. Brett Eliason did wonders with the mixes for that tour. Hopefully they're using his services for the 2009 boots.
Barrett Jones did the mixes for the 2008 shows, and while I don't agree that they sounded horrible, they did leave something to be desired when compared to the previous offerings. The sound of the boots did improve as the tour progressed, though. Compare the Boston shows to the Florida shows and I'm sure you'll agree.
I know they really want to get it right this time and if it takes a while that's okay by me.(and I'm typically very impatient) I'm sure the wait will be worth it!

I Don't get why these bootlegs take so long to be posted.... (weeks after the show????) Seriously, that's ridiculous and unacceptable. What Happened to hours after the show ended? You guys did it in 05. I think you lose overall potential buyers too. Why not do it through livedownloads. i know phish has their shows posted right after to download, it is great. (just an example) It just annoys me, cuz i want the show after i was there. not 2 weeks later. turn it up a notch over there please!

Doesn't anybody remember the 2000 boots??? The European shows weren't released until after the first N. America leg. The first N. American leg wasn't released until after the tour ended, and the second N. American leg was released 4 months after the tour in March 2001. Just be patient people. Everyone wants quality boots and they take time. Besides, the band never said for sure which boots were being released. Maybe they will only release the Seattle shows and beyond...
He who forgets will be destined to remember.

    9/29/04 Boston, 6/28/08 Mansfield, 8/23/09 Chicago, 5/15/10 Hartford

Doubt it, I'm 100% certain they'll be releasing the August shows (at least some of them, anyway). There was no point announcing the bootleg program before that tour kicked off otherwise.

Yup- all it tells you is where they will be on the site when available, and as it was noted in other threads, when and audience recording of SBE was put up, the mods took it down saying high quality shows will be released later on

Everyone should just relax. They record every show. Boots this year will be released, including the August shows. Possibly not every show, but that remains to be seen. They might be waiting til the album's out before releasing them due to the new songs (but then again, they might be out tomorrow).

Just settle down and have a little patience.

I've got the 2000 bootleg for the show in Cardiff I was lucky enough to attend, i'd love to be able to listen to the Manchester show I went to earlier this month but to be honest, I'm still smiling from the night, almost 2 weeks on so if it takes a year, it'll be well worth the wait!

And does anybody remember the 2006 Boots which you could get online in a few days, wait a second i wil repeat myself, IN A FEW DAYS, sorry not clear enough, IN A FEW DAYS!!! after the concert was played.

I remember it very clearly because i was seeing the other boots pop up and then i went to the Arnhem '06 show en a few days, will not repeat it again, it was online for download.. included also CD-ARTWORK :D

That was the best reLIVE show i've had ever... 8-)

Not to be an asshole about these concerts but it is nonsense if you think they need time to release.
