    speaking of raining men, today at work someone asked which pj gig i was going to and i said auckland.. same one as so-and-so but she's got silver tickets at the back and i've got fixer tickets at the front...

    "i'm gonna get SWEAT ON.....nothing better than a sweaty eddie vedder!"

    which excited some of the ladies in the office. hey, it's friday and sunny.. everyone was giddy.

    and one of my coworkers said "oh, is he the singer?" and then with the most convinction and sincerity, she closed her eyes and struck a creed-worthy pose..

    "WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE..."

    and i laughed. hard.

    it started pissing down at REM in new plymouth in 2005, so they sang have you ever seen the rain? and it was magical. then people jumped into the duck pond between the crowd and the stage and they sang nightswimming...
