Yep. November 25th will probably be hot and humid. As long as there isn't a thunderstorm it should be ok. Cyclones in Brisbane?? :o

yep - they reckon it'll get up to 50° here this summer - that's a load of crap i tell you!
At least for the concert, you KNOW it's going to be a warm night! SA is only second to Tassie as being the driest state in Aus, so at least rain won't be an issue. Though now i've said it, it'll probably get a proper soaking...

How could you have a concert with 30,000 and there be at least no shuttle buses to a train station or city??

Maybe that motel next door to the stadium could be a goer then?!?!?!

Ok I just got off the phone to "The Glenn Hotel" they are open until 2am and they are around the corner from Qsac(about 2 min drive) it's nicer then Dicieys and we can book an area if we want. and they Definately will be open until 2am on the night of the show in Brisbane.

    what do you guys think?

The Glenn is a shit load better than Dicey's, but harder to get to..at least Dicey's is walking distance. I wouldn't imagine Dicey's would be open past Midnight though..what about the Sunnybank Hotel..you can walk there..about 2 km's, but no hills.

Their website has them open until 0230am every night but Sunday..it's just striaght down Mains Rd, just past the 2 shopping centres that are on either side of the road. I haven't been there for a few years, but it was a pretty good pub

yeah but i know for a fact that may not be the case. most bars and clubs will advertise there actual liquor license hours as their open hours but it is never always their actual open hours. we would always have trouble at closing time cause some drunk can read on the door that our open hours were til 2.30, but that is just the time where were actually allowed to trade to if we wanted to.

the main bar at the sunny bank would always close early, the pokie room would stay open a bit later, but it is fucking tiny, you wouldn't be able to fit many people in there if the main bar is shut.
