Im all about convenience when something like a concert finishes. How can I get out of there quickly and where can I have a 'fairly' peaceful beer then not have a 2 hr trip back to hotel
ha ha, you would be staying in either northern N.S.W or the sunshine coast, or Toowoomba for you to have a 2 hour trip back to the hotel. brisbane ain't very big.
Havent even thought about that yet. Prob makes sense to stay close to the others.
Im an old man so heading into a club or something in the city may be too much...aka dress codes etc. Ill be stinking of sweet and wearing comfy clothing so.....

my exam dates are out on 6th ... and i would like to do brissie... but depends on exam AND if i can scout me a spare 10c tkt ...
airnz have ads every 5 seconds atm - the latest is book a return and get $100 off - but we are flying into auck, flying out of chri ... plus, remember the good deal zig & i thought we had, and then it was a shit load of taxes and charges on top. .... and remember - it costs less to fly back to sydney and out to nz, than to get a direct flight out of brissie :shock:

This place is right across the road from QSAC dont know what its like as I am from Sydney but close is good.
This is where we are staying $200 a night think its more expensive because she asked me if we were coming for the PJ concert.When I asked if it was close to the venue she said you will be able to hear the concert from there.

yeah that's real close. $200 a night sounds like a fucking shit load to me. someone said they tried to book there pretty much when the dates were announced and they said it was fully booked. maybe they cancelled some bookings, up the price to make some money off pearl jam fans.
i would seriously ring back and enquire how much it is to stay there on a wednesday night like week before or the week after pearl jam, i bet you'll get a cheaper price.
Ok I just got off the phone to "The Glenn Hotel" they are open until 2am and they are around the corner from Qsac(about 2 min drive) it's nicer then Dicieys and we can book an area if we want. and they Definately will be open until 2am on the night of the show in Brisbane.

a light mist - not a heavy downpour. Though, if it's gonna happen, it's GONNA happen. Nov isn't that common for Adelaide and rain... so fingers crossed!
