  • On 1st listen, it is the catchiest chorus they have had in a long time. Perfect for radio.
  • I put up a YouTube version mainly because MySpace Music sometimes lags and freezes and shit.

    You rock! Thanks!

The chorus is fine, it would be better if the verses were not asanine and made the chorus something you could get behind.

um...not liking it too much. On my 5th listen. A little too repetitive/simplistic for my PJ tastes. I hear a bunch of Unemployable in here. And I never liked that song that much.

Whatever...I'm sure I'll love the album. Just was hoping for something a little stronger out of the gate.

Hmm, ok I had to listen too. On first listen I didnt think much of it, but it has a catchy quality over it. I really like it now and will be listening all day today!

Actually I've really thought from the first moment I heard this track that it was reminiscent of Big Wave more so than Unemployable, and I'm a little surprised more people haven't mentioned the same thing (that I have seen at least).

What are the chances that this is a joke by the band? As in, haha, of course this isn't really one of our new songs, fools.

Agreed. This is radio pop. Sad. What happened. Listen to No Code then this and really give an opinion.

I really love it, and I was half-expecting not to like it at all, given the previous Target ad leak. The moral of this tale: don't listen to shite-fi live audience boots.

God help if they ever release a fun radio song. It is so far beneath them to release a catchy song that will be fun to hear live and people outside of the diehards will like. I am really afraid now the new albulm will be Ten, part II and not No Code, part II.

Everyone is not going to like every song. I like it, and I am sure it is going to be much better live.

Some people would find a way to like - or atleast justify - PJ releasing an album of nursery rhymes.

I love Pearl Jam. They're my favourite band by a fair stretch. But I can't listen to this song.
    Come to send, not condescend...

    Kings of Leon? :?
I honsestly think some of you need to have your ears cleaned.
I heard that ear candles work really well in getting deep into the ears and pulling the crusties out

Anyways...The song is catchy, it'll do well on radio and will sound great live.
There's probably not another song on the album that sounds like it, and it sounds different than anything they've ever done before.

I''ll have to give it a few more listens before it really sinks in.
It's such a departure for them, but cool at the same time.

As for the lyrics, I think they serve the song and do what they have to do.
Not every song has to have deep profound life altering lyrics.
Sometimes it's just fun to write a catchy ass rock tune.

Part of the problem with World Wide Suicide is I felt there were too many lyrics. It seemed forced and like Eddie just had to write a political song.

I'm glad he eased up on this one. Simple lyrics were all that was needed here. Anything else would have weighed the song down.

Fine, then don't listen to it. Move on. But why feel the need to tell everyone else how bad it is???

I think it's really great. It's a perfect, catchy-as-hell single. It also sounds new and different and unlike anything else out there today. How can that be bad?

Fun radio song is fine but something like WWS is about as far as I go with that.
