Michael Jackson Suffers Heart Attack!

Pop star Michael Jackson has suffered a heart attack, it has been reported.

Media reports have said the star, 50, has been taken to hospital in Los Angeles after he was found not breathing in his Holmby Hills home earlier.

Celebrity website TMZ said 911 operators received an emergency call about 12.12pm local time.

Jackson is believed to have gone into cardiac arrest and paramedics performed CPR on him en route to UCLA hospital.

The website quoted family members as saying the Thriller singer was in "really bad shape."

"We just got off the phone with Joe Jackson, Michael's dad, who says 'he is not doing well.'' the website reported.

    LOS ANGELES – A fire department official tells the Los Angeles Times that Michael Jackson has been rushed to the hospital.

    Steve Ruda (ROO'-dah) told the newspaper Thursday that Jackson was not breathing when Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a call at his Los Angeles home about 12:30 p.m.

    The paramedics performed CPR and took him to UCLA Medical Center, Ruda told the paper.

    L. Londell McMillan, a lawyer for Jackson, did not have any information. Messages left for other Jackson associates were not immediately returned.

    The hospitalization was first reported by the Web site TMZ.

    I know it's TMZ and you get the whole tabloid celeb feel with it, and Harvey Levin can be an ass, but he does have all the contacts nobody else has and is a reliable news outlet. However, if he's wrong on this one, he'll have a lot of explaining to do.

    Michael JacksonWe've just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.

    Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics
    were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

    A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived.

    Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but he was completely unresponsive.

    We're told one of the staff members at Jackson's home called 911.

    La Toya ran in the hospital sobbing after Jackson was pronounced dead.

    Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II.

    a new york times article says he is not dead, it was written at 5:40 est, that looks to be the strongest publication so far, so maybe he isnt dead

    CNN hasn't confirmed it yet, but likely could any minute. Perez is quoting TMZ as well,...

    CNN has a computer feed live. They said just now that they interviewed driver or something and they said he arrived not breathing or something.

    Not in good shape, but I dunno if he's dead.

    Neither Fox News, MSNBC, nor CNN have confirmed that he's dead. They all have said that he's been rushed to the hospital.

    That being said Micheal Jackson is a (musical..that's about it) legend. He changed the industry.

    all the cable news channels are saying he's in the hospital for cardiac arrest.
