    I think major stations are doing due diligence on their research. TMZ probably has a lower bar. Not that they're not right, but they are not a major station for "news".

    they had the story first. i gotta think they wouldn't make that claim if they weren't 99.9% sure.

    but then again, i've never watched tmz or visited their site until about a half hour ago..
    i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam

    honestly, my first reaction when I read that it was heart attack was that it's a stunt to hype his upcoming shows. hopefully it's nothing worse.

    CNN is saying coma now.
    At the hospital I work with... coma is often a nice way of saying brain dead.. definitely on life support.
    Either way, not a good thing.

    That is what I kind of thought or that he isn't able to play them or some such crazy stunt. I really don't know much about TMZ but I think I will wait for a someone a little bit more reliable than them to believe he really is dead. And if he has died just wait for the crazy "he really isn't dead" stories and how he is really working with Elvis :roll:

    I just watched that South Park episode the other night. Laughed my ass off! (kinda feel bad now! lol)

    CNN has not confirmed that. They're only saying that LA times and CBS say dead. Even on CNN's banner on their video stream says "LA Times: Michael Jackson Dead".

    I always thought this guy was tortured by the spotlight and the media. they really ruined his life, forcing him into isolation and odd behavior.

    Spotlight and media or his crazy fuckin fans, some of which lived in vans outside of his home.

    such an unfortunate and truly sad life... for all his success and wealth he could never find happiness with himself... such a rough childhood and an unbelievable odd couple decades recently... doesnt do anything to taint his incredible career IMO

    wish he couldve bounced back to make more music
