Thanks! As you can imagine I was pretty stoked when it came and I saw they had personalized it!

BTW, just an FYI for anyone framing this poster: when I replaced my unsigned poster with this one in the same frame, the tannish stock paper had faded quite a bit. It was much darker around the edges that were under the matte and the room it was in doesn't even get direct sunlight. So if you're looking to frame this one, spend the extra cash and get conservation glass.
So, I guess you ponied up and replaced your glass too? There's a few people here that don't see teh value in uv glass, but your story mind change a few minds. It would be interesting to see what would have happened if you had used uv glass. Perhaps it wouldn't have been any better? I think it probably would have though.

Hell yes I ponied up! I'm not taking a chance with this one! The people at the frame shop told me UV glass isn't all that important for posters on white stock, but anything with color should be framed in the good stuff. I'm sure it wouldn't have faded nearly as much if it was in UV glass.

It's an interesting question, at the very least. The Klausen Hawaii '06 poster has yet to be sold by 10C, whether they have any or not, yet at least one has been given away as a prize from a contest. It begs the question, do they have a quantity to sell (at some point) or did they only have a handful, and they decided to give the few away...

I had one of the Yield posters from the '98 tour repeatedly hung with thumbtacks that got butchered on the corners and was looking ratty. I couldn't bring myself to part with it so I took some scissors to it and framed it and now I get comments about it from virtually everyone who comes to my house. Most people don't even know it's a Pearl Jam poster -- they just think it looks badass!

I know I probably compromised the value of the poster by cutting it but it's not an Ames Bros print and the value had long been compromised by my negligent care. Can you believe I hung a Knoxville '98 in the same fashion? That one, thankfully, stayed in better condition over the years and has since been matted and framed as well. Who knew these things were going be worth so much someday?

No way, man...you did the right thing...that poster's not super valuable anyway...I think I saw one sell on ebay for less than $25.

It looks great framed that way, and I may just steal that idea, too!
