Of course his mother died when he was born...... or was he just being facetious?
i didn't even think of that... i just thought he was being a smart ass. hmmm.
I remembered about his mother and assumed he was being a smart ass. I liked it when Jack asked Mrs. Hawkins if Ben was telling the truth about not knowing about the room and she said probably not. Ben is so slimy.

Whats funny is now two people, Ms Hawking and Jacob/Jacks Dad have pointed out negative things about Ben.

I have never watched one episode, I always think of getting the first season on DVD. I'm afraid I will be hooked! :o

    "What a stupid lamb."
    "What a sick, masochistic lion."
  • so here's a question probably already discussed.... Is Locke REALLY dead?

I really expected him to show up at the end instead of Jin
ohhh good one. for some reason I was thinking it would be Faraday, back when he was working for Dharma.

I'm starting to think it all revolves around Faraday.

I'm surprised they didn't wait until the season finally to get back to the island. What are they, halfway through this season?

They must have a lot of island story telling left to do before next season ends..

I don't think Jack's dad is Jacob. Apparently, in season four when Locke went to ask what to do with the island, Jack's dad said he was speaking on Jacob's behalf.

I figured it would be a young Benry on his way to purge his Dad and the rest of the DI.

They pointed that out on the enhanced rerun of last weeks episode at 8PM.
They also said that they were in a past time before the well was dug when the well closed over with Locke's nasty dangling tibia inside.

Thats what I meant, Jacks Dad is just Jacobs host right now. I have a feeling it may be Locke as the host now that they are back on the Island. There were a lot of religous themes last night, especially about resurection, so I have a feelign that is going to come into play.

So, how did Hurley come to be on the plane, 36 hours earlier he was in LA jail.
And how about Sayid, 36 hours earlier he walks away from Benry et al and suddenly he's in custody of some law enforcement official (supposed to mirror Kate on the original flight with Marshall Willenhollie I assume) and on a flight to Guam?
How are they gonna explain that one?
"Sayid Jarrah was captured in LA, he's wanted in Guam for crimes against humanity and has waved extradition. We're gonna skip the usual court business and put him right on a plane to Guam to face justice"

I am sure it is all going to be shown in the upcomming episodes, Ben's lawyers said he can get Hurley off without a problem, so I am sure it is going to have something to do with it. And watching the preview of next week, it looked like Locke was with the agent that sat next to Sayid, and we know that Ben had somethign to do with Lockes "suicide". I am curious as to why Hurley had that Guitar with him? Does that have something to do with Charlie? And I have a feeling Ben went after Penny and that will lead Desomnd back to the Island.

I still can't get over how great last night's episode was. I loved how it opened with Jack's eye - just like the very first episode. And then having one of the last scenes of the same - just like at the beginning.

Also, it seems like maybe the old Jack is back. Although I do recall there was one scene where I thought he was being a real woos, but I forgot what that was now.

Cool. I missed that. So I was right about them being in the past after the last flash.

More and more I'm feeling like Ben came after Penny, although if he succeeded in killing her remains to be seen. Of course we learned in S1 that no character is safe on this show. That's one of the things I love/hate about Lost. Part of its unpredictability.

I noticed Hurley's guitar and assumed it has something to do with Charlie.

How about the guy in the airport who expressed condolences to Jack and then showed up on the flight? New character? Who is he working for?

I keep wondering about Aaron and where Kate left him and my current theory is that she left him with Desmond and Penny since they also have a little boy. Sun could have told her about seeing Desmond at the church. Aaron is one of the O6 so theoretically he has to go back to the island too. If Desmond pursues Ben back to the island, that could take Aaron there.

The only other theory I've had about Aaron doesn't quite work. I've been trying to figure out since last season what it was that Sawyer asked Kate to do for him. The thing that she wouldn't tell Jack about so Jack broke up with her. I think it has something to do with the child he had with the woman he conned. He asked Kate to check on her. So at first I wondered if Kate had actually made contact with them and could have left Aaron with them. But since Kate met the woman back when she (Kate) was on the run, how could they have a reunion after Kate came back? ("OMG Sawyer was your cheating BF? Too bad, bitch, now he's my BF!") Maybe Kate's just checking on Sawyer's daughter.

As upset as Kate was when Jack found her in his bed, I think that Kate was threatened somehow to give up Aaron. Not sure about that, but I don't think it was voluntary. For some reason, she didn't want to tell Jack. And that reminds me....... when she asked Jack not to mention Aaron he tacitly went along with her. Aaron is his nephew for goodness sake! Wouldn't he be concerned about where he was? I have a hunch that Kate left Aaron with Claire's mother (can't remember her name).
