This is indeed great news! The best of all worlds. But, now that I've figured out and got all the equipment for downloading, it's decision time. lol Real cd's or flac? I'll probably see what the s/h and packaging is for the real ones and go from there. Thank you PJ! Just awesome. :)

So mp3/FLAC is being released asap after the show?

    You mean $14.99 FLAC.

Sorry, I was thinking of Metallica Bootlegs who offer the FLAC version for $9.99. I think it's safe to say a Pearl Jam show is worth $5 more.

You guys keep commenting about the 2007 boots. Is it possible they never actually recorded any?

First of all. AWESOME. One little thing though... wasn't the '06 boots available like the day or two after the show? Hate to be a bastard and cry and whine and blah blah blah, but I don't remember waiting 2 weeks for them. It's too long! I need to hear the shows I went to and make a shrine to them with the poster and ticket stub.

Yes they were available right away. Two weeks isn't bad at all though.

EDIT: And not trying to pat myself on the back or anything but I find it strange to know that I was the first view on this thread. I knew the deal with the boots before everyone else lol? Thats just weird.

From what I've heard and read, they record everything and always have. :)

The world is like a ride in an amusement park, and when you choose to go on it you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. The ride goes up and down, around and around, it has thrills and chills, and it's very brightly colored, and it's very loud, and it's fun for a while. Many people have been on the ride a long time, and they begin to wonder, "Hey, is this real, or is this just a ride?" And other people have remembered, and they come back to us and say, "Hey, don't worry; don't be afraid, ever. Because this is just a ride." And we...kill those people. "Shut him up! I've got a lot invested in this ride, shut him up! Look at my furrows of worry, look at my big bank account, and my family. This has to be real." It's just a ride. But we always kill the good guys who try and tell us that, you ever notice that? And let the demons run amok? But it doesn't matter, because it's just a ride. And we can change it any time we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings of money. Just a simple choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your doors, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love instead see all of us as one. Here's what we can do to change the world, right now, to a better ride. Take all that money we spend on weapons and defenses each year and instead spend it feeding and clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would pay for many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space, together, both inner and outer, forever, in peace.

Cheers to no more double and triple tracks!

I HATED the shitty digital versions with distorted base and terrible drums.
The less you know, the more you believe.
  • and why Do we call them bootlegs?, I wondered rhetorically.

    peace,

(and thanks to all who make the boots possible!)

I'm in for all the CD's....
    Conversations getting dull
There's a constant ringing in my ears
Sense of humor's void and numb
    And I'm bored to tears.......
