    Made-to-order Bootleg CDs
    In addition to digital bootlegs, Pearl Jam is launching a new physical CD program for this tour. CDs will be manufactured according to customer demand and will ship within three weeks of each show date. CDs will be made-to-order using recycled material. The price for hard copy bootlegs is $16.99/show and will be available exclusively through http://www.pearljam.com.


    Does this mean that it will be very easy to purchase them? When will they go on sale you guys think? I know they will ship within 3 days, will they be avail tomorrow? As a pre order?

    I would assume it will be easy to order them, but I do wonder how much shipping will cost, and if you can get them cheaper if you order them all at once, rather than each show separately.

    Finally, Pearl Jam got it right. Making bootlegs available in MP3, FLAC, CD, and mobile should please everyone.

    I will be buying physical CDs. I wonder if they are going to have unique artwork or if they will be 2003 style with the same basic artwork for each leg of the tour with the unique show spine and tracklisting stickers.

    I would prefer unique artwork ala 2000.

    They should use the posters.

    hmm.. I wouldn't be interested in all of them.. but when the times comes who knows.. I will mainly want both MSG's..

    call me lame, but when i saw physical copies were back. i got goosebumps and yelled out "FUCK YEAH MAN!" to myself. that is the SHIT!!! best news.

    oh ok, I thought you were being sarcastic....

    I would assume it wont be hard to order at all, just pay for the show that you want I'm sure once that first show gets on its way we will see the Buy for the show on the website...

    I'm assuming they'll start taking orders as the shows happen...

    They don't ship until 3 weeks after the show so that will be some time, worth waiting though IMO for physical bootlegs... :)


    My question is: if I'm going to WPB, Tampa and Camden can I wait until Camden is done so that I can order all 3 bootlegs at the same time so that they can ship together and I don't get killed with the shipping charges?

    I will be happy to use part of my economic stimulus check paying for each and every physical bootleg cd.

    I am curious if there will be a way to purchase the entire set for one shipment, like back in 2003. I won't complain if there's not, but I understand. It may be more efficient to use the poster business model of shipping individually, so you can process orders like an assembly line, not made to order...
